I don't think you understood the post - this isn't useful in any way for CFW.

iirc it had to do with it triggering the update service. Skimmed over it a couple days ago so my memory is a bit foggy on it.

It was basically just a method to recover from a brick caused by a failed update or something. No exploit was ever found. Sorry that you were misled.
