This game looks graphically bad. Should have just remastered it.

IDK if this remake sells well, they could remake Warrior Within and The Two Thrones.
I remember playing every version of it (PS2, GBA and PC)
Now I am expecting if Yuri Lowenthal voices the Prince of Persia again in the remake, since this game was his first voice acting role.
Is there really a point to remake WW? That game is amazing and still holds very well to today's standards.

UbiSoft should stop looking for excuses to not develop a new PoP and just do it. I've been waiting for a sequel for PoP08, but I'm guessing that'll never happen.

That looks terrible in all aspects. Straight up mobile game level cash in trash.

The PS3 gen ports were all buggy as heck as well back when they repackaged the trilogy so best way to play is BC on Xbox/Wii U.

In terms of atmosphere, story, gaming, characters etc.. the SOT was a perfect game. The decision to Emo up the Prince for part 2 with a suitably angst ridden soundtrack was a misstep but the third one was good. The Wii title Forgotten Sands is a totally unique title which harks back to the first one and is apparently quite good, or so said the five people that ever played it.

Part of me feels this might look so janky on purpose so they can get the Sonic Movie free online hype and then *tada* "We fixed it!" as its cheaper than running a promo campaign because there is no way at all anyone with any semblance of sense looked at this demake and said "Yeah, thats money right there. Good job team" because every single part of it from the models to art, lighting, voices everything is off.

I still need to finish the original on PS2 sometime so I'm good.
This looks like they didn't have a large budget, just straight up ugly.

Yes! The first game is all I needed, thank you. I played it to death on my GameCube.

Yeah, uhm, that's because the series went downhill from the start. The first one was really great, then the second one was meh, more focused on the beat em up than the puzzle/platforming, then the third was basically a generic beat em up. And then the series went really, really bad. The newer game are QTEs from start to finish, à la Heavy Rain, but way, waaaaay worse.
Tbh I don't agree that much, I think the two other episodes from the Sands of Time Trilogy were very solid, they had a lot of personality and where very different from each other, tho they didn't had as much success as the first ofc but I don't know if it was because they weren't as good as the first
But I do agree that it at least went downhill after the trilogy, I've finished The Forgotten Sands on the Wii back in the day but I don't remember that much from it, just that it was pretty okay, at least it was better than the reboot which was awful ... Not being able to die, repetitive af ...

And tbh I'm still a bit surprised they didn't remade the original Sands of Time into an Assassin's Creed lookalike, since the rumors I thought they would try to apply their open world formula into Prince of Persia especially since Assassin's Creed was supposed to be a spin-off originally

Great game with a great story but crappy graphics, typical ubisoft, looks very similar to the original...

Edit: The dislikes on youtube are real
