Hi. I made the mistake of updating my Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with mods (skins) installed with Ultimate Mod Manager. I can't start the game because I always get an error and I don't know how to start it again: (

If someone can help me I would appreciate it very much

Well, I think you should delete and reinstall all over again. Of course, deleting the mod folders and config files before reinstalling.

By the way, what's the easiest way to use mods? I have seen simple mod manager and ultimate mod manager, but never really gave them a chance because of the "data arc dumper" and all that

The easiest way is to just download them straight from gamebanana and place on your SD card. Most mods come zipped up in the exact format you need and should just be a matter of placing within the root

Delete the data.arc file in your atmosphere folder and reinstall the mods after.

I can't do it and I don't want to install the mods again, let me explain. As I said update the game having mods installed but now every time I enter the game I get an error, I cannot uninstall the mods because it does not match the version. I just want to know if it can be left "as new" as if I had never played it to see if you let me start it now :(

You mean resetting save? Then delete it.

I tried to delete my save data, reinstall the game and the update and whenever I try to enter it gives me an error :(
The game gives you an error because its version doesn't match with your data.arc file. If you want to use Smash Bros' current update, you have to delete the data.arc and reinstall your mods through Ultimate Mod Manager.
If you do not want to reinstall your mods, downgrade Smash Bros to the version you previously were and the game should boot up fine

Nothing yet. Now when I enter the Ultimate mod manager it asks me to make a backup of the data.arc but for that you need to enter Smash and start homebrew but as I said "error". I don't want to play with mods, I just want to smash without them but I've tried everything and still nothing
