super mario bros wonder says needs system update help

bought game super mario bros wonder today.
when i put the games in modded switch running 15.1 fw its says switch needs a system update.
the games is being installed onto switch usb card with other games on it.

Do i have to update my modded switch running 15.1 and tinfoil.
whats the safest method to do this ...want to play this game today on my modded switch

Download and copy over the latest atmosphere and Hekate. And then you would need to update the system to 16.1.0 specifically as 17.0.0 doesn't have sigpatches yet. Though you would need to find the files for that update on your own.
 
how do i update, its a while i modded my switch to 15.1 its runnign tinfoil 16

dwill atmosphere 1.6.0 and hekate 6.0.7 work as they are the latest .

or shall i stick to Atm 1.55 and hekate 6.0.6. i am downloading from github

Grab Atmosphere 1.55 and Hekate 6.0.6 find, the sig patches for it, you can use a pre build pack like Sthetix's HATS if you want, it come with patches, firmware files can be found on Darthsternie.
 
so i have got the files 1.55 and hekate 6.0.6
where to find the CFW 16.1.0 is it in the atmosphere 1.55
do i have to keep the sd card in the switch and copy the files or do i have to use the jig and use the tegra rcm to inject the payload

Use Hekate sd card usb mount feature.
 
i have got hekate sd card usb mount features running on my switch.
so i can go and connect my switch to my pc adn transfer the 2 fies
hekate andn atm ..
do i have to reoot the swith or it willupdate itsels..

You have to use daybreak to flash the firmware, which will require a reboot.
 
my switch is v1 and softmodded

so what i have understood as my switch is softmodded v1

I connect switch to pc with usb c cable ( i was doing this to install games) earlier

1) Copy ATM 1.55 and Hekate 6.0.6 onto root of SD Card . From hekate only bootloader,
my question should i leave the hekate_ctcaer_6.0.6_Nyx_1.55 for transfer to sd card as this will be used for the TegraRcm gui to inject payload to boot....

2)do i download the rest of the files onto root of sd card in switch conncted by usb c cable like ( fuse.bin , sigpatches and Firmware 16.1.0 )then reboot the switch with jig

3) put the jig and boot switch to RCM mode inject payload with tegra rcm and boot into CFW ( i assume Atm and hekate will be updated to latest) then i have to run daybreak and install the 16.1.0 by selecting it.

4)Then reboot the switch with jig in RCM in CFW. to finish the update.

5) if i want to update the sysnand i boot inot sysnand and update via the system setting--- system update...............
Q) ? will this also update the firmware to 16.1.0 similat to CFW or will it update it to 17.

i cant rename this to payolad.bin ( im using windows 11 pc

i am tring to install it and got this error, but can't find that folder to delete it cuz now i have a non-working icon on my screen. the install failed, said something about failed magic???????
