By free you mean legitimately free ofc. Probably not. As far as non-legitimate ways are concerned, linking to or pm'ing links to sites offering pirated copies of games/software is against the rules of this forum.

If you can boot your Switch into CFW, then you can install Animal Crossing using a Tinfoil-based shop like UnderShop, PartyShop, JITS, etc. That would probably be the easiest way.

In case you're not aware, a free/pirated copy of Animal Crossing won't be able to play online (visit other people's islands over the internet). If you want that, buy the game, otherwise yay piracy.
