got @psobloke switch today, one of the lucky few whose post actually arrived before 12. did his install sent it back same day he may even get it tomorrow

Not only did I receive it next day, I couldn't be more impressed with @squee666 's service. Literally took me longer to send it to him than it took for him to install, send back and me to receive !

Hello can anyone recommand a way to remove damaged philips screws from the switchs casing?

Didn't even consider that it is replacable. I'll just use what tools i got and just switch it out if it brakes lol.

Use a fine drill, not much bigger in diameter as the threaded part of the screw. The head of the screw comes easily off, as soon as you reach the threads. Then screw the threaded rod out with a small plier. Only thing that needs to be replaced is the screw itself, if you are careful ;)

Ya those phillips heads didn’t fit as well in my screwdriver as the y screws. My phillips screwdriver was correct size but had a ratcheting action that made it hard to know when it was seated. Used a different Phillips screwdriver that was all one solid piece and used firm pressure to carefully remove them.

Some of the black phillips screws are a different size too, so they should go back in same hole they came out of. If I remember correctly the two on the side and the one under sd card are a little shorter.

Hello Portugal,
7 days to Ro, i espect 10 days back to you.
What did you use Lead free solder ?
Before

Big thanks for fixing my mistake, even with experience soldering SMD, things didn't go as planned.
When I shorted the capacitor and couldn't see it properly without a microscope, I decided it was time for me to stop.
I was using some old solder that I don't know where it came from :wtf: big mistake...

Hey guys, installed a lite and glitched and all good, but after i insulated and closed, it boots to ofw
Opened the console and found thr chip is not blinking blue
Just a steady green, then shuts off and boots to ofw

anyone faced something like this
Sx Lite of course

Wtf was this guy doing, soldering with his feet
Id return it back to him honestly, seems botched like hell
What is beside the speakers is that solder
by the way you dont need the caps on sp1, i fucked up one, and soldered to the points directly and it worked fine
