So I was finally done with the homebrewing proccess of my Wii and booted up Homebrew browser to download some emulators but on the Homebrew Launcher it showed I wasn't connected to the internet, and on the Homebrew Browser it gave me error 6, i went to my Wii seetings and tried a connection test (without updating the wii, of course) but got error code 51030, internet's fine on every other device, anything i can do to reconnect to the internet?

wii is 2.4GHz and uses wep or wpa only. that might be the reason. if that's the case, use a hotspot with your phone. that's what I do with my psp, since I'm using wpa version 2.

Try setting up a Wi-Fi connection once again.
I've had this problem with different internet providers (2 out of 4)

got reonnected to the internet, but HBB is still giving me error 6, how do i fix it?
Just add manually all your homebrew apps dude.
Is not that hard.

You can try to spent more time trying to automate the process or spend half hour adding everything manually.

the eshop went offline January of 2019 I believe for the wii. you can still connect, but it will tell that it's closed and you won't be able to search for anything. I've tried it on the wii u, and that's what you get.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I just remembered. I took a photo of it on the virtual wii. the virtual wii will use wpa2 just like the wii u, so you don't have to worry about that:

Did you maybe have placed a HDD on Top of the Wii ? If yes, place it aside please.
Interferences from the HDD/Controller can affect the WiFi Module which is installed on the Top of the Wii.

Good Luck
Thank you.:)
