Guess they're saying the worthwhile-to-shovelware ratio is higher on PSVR because PC VR gets moar releases, quantity over quality."slop" he says
Read something the other day that said over 80% of PSVR releases are very good, novel experiences that use the hardware well compared to the slop that is all over PC. Anyone got one? Does it matter if you're running a Base or Pro for VR? Worth it?
They've said it will be. New version is gonna be some years down the line, so the current PSVR will stay current for a while yet.Just hope the VR is compatible with the PS5 if not then all that $$$ is going to go down the drain.
How much was it on a Black Friday? I know we won't necessarily see the same deals again this year but it's something to go on.I got my V2 in a Black Friday sale with games and the move controllers. I’m a big fan of the PSVR, however there are quite a few games that you would probably categorise as shovelware. I would say it’s 65% of them that are awesome games. It’s definitely worth it in my opinion, there is a lot of fun to be had when you find a game you gel with!
Yeah £180 with move controllers is more like what I was hoping for, the ebay listings I looked at were closer to that price without controllers, and a pair of those could be nearly another hundred. Maybe auctions turn out better than buy it now.People have been picking up V2 headsets with 2 Move controllers for around £180 which is quite a decent price, all things considered. Used I've seen headsets go for around £100 alone but the controllers always command a high price as they don't seem to be producing enough of them to keep up with demand.
Just sniped a set with controllers for £190, that'll do nicely Can't wait to play with it!Yeah £180 with move controllers is more like what I was hoping for,
