Hacking Beyond frustrated with trying to make this work...

I've hit a wall trying to make this work. I'm trying to get Wii U, Wii, and Gamecube games to work on my Wii U and I can't seem to get it to work the way I want to. I've currently got everything running off of my USB drive which is working very well except for 300 titles is not nearly enough room for everything. I'm really trying to get a seamless experience. I don't mind booting from the System Menu into an emulator/forwarder to launch a game but booting from the System Menu to vWii, then to a launcher/emulator to launch a game is one more step than I want.

For days, I've been trying and failing to get WiiFlow to actually run Wii backups and I've tried and failed with every dx2 custom IOS method and setting adjustment I can find. Today, I gave up on WiiFlow and switched to CFG Loader and I successfully got it to run Wii backups off of my 32gb SanDisk Ultra SD card but only when launching the app from the vWii mode. I have a 512gb card I was hoping to use but I don't want to open it until I actually get this working.

Whenever I try to launch wii backups with the forwarder channel I made with Teconmoon's WiiVC Injector I get this error:

d2x IOS reload block FAILED!​

set_frag: -128

ERROR: SetWBFS: -128​

I have no idea how to fix this and the only pre-built forwarder I can find won't even launch. What am I doing wrong here?

It's been a while since I used my Wii U, but I do remember vWii compatibility being a bitch to me for the longest time. Wiiflow was a no-go, and had to settle with USB Loader GX (CFG loader also gave me some problems, don't remember exactly what tho). I do believe there's a pre-built forwarder for USB Loader GX somewhere on the temp. Keep in mind, with USB Loader GX, you don't get to play games off of SD.

Forget wiiflow just make WIIU Inject games using teconmoon's wiivc injector. This will convert GameCube & Wii 1 games into WUP format... Then just install them to your WIIU Hard drive.. I have over 100 GameCube games and about 70 Wii games.. It works perfectly and it very easy to use....

I can't remember if cbhc allows booting into vwii. if it doesn't, try the modded version. I know it has that option.

The OPs problem is the 300 title limit, so adding more titles won't help at all.

After a bit of thinking what could work is:

• Wii and GameCube to vWii.

• VC injects or vWii forwarders to start emulators. One title per emulator but not per game.
