Nintendo Switch firmware version 10.1.0 available to download

If there's one thing you can count on in this world, it's the stability updates for your Nintendo consoles. A new Nintendo Switch firmware update has just gone live, bringing the system to software version 10.1.0. As usual, this minor update only adds "general system stability improvements to enhance the user's experience". The new firmware doesn't seem to change much in terms of exploits, either--SciresM says that Trustzone/Bootloader weren't affected, and neither was the Kernel changed. Regardless, a new version of Atmosphere will be dropping later this week.

Obligatory stability joke:
So much stability that stability in of itself is becoming a meta joke

Reading your post while looking at your avatar makes the disappointment of the lack of new features that much more real.

Still trying to remain patient for an exploit i can use on my (presumed) Mariko switch that shipped with 8.0.1.

Can't really order an SX modchip either at this time, given lack of work during this summer, and incidentally, lack of income. :ohnoes: Just hoping for an alternative before I actually break down and buy the thing, and put those funds elsewhere more relevant.

so aside from the jokes is there any news on Atmosphere or SXOS releasing a CFW for 10.1.0 or is it something that Nintendo finally blocked.

Long after I'm gone, after the plastic shells of each Switch has decayed to nothing, after the console has been discounted as ancient history, Nintendo will still be releasing "Security" updates for the 3DS and Switch. And people will still be making the exact same jokes about it.

Nintendo releasing new sysupdates is my favorite time of the week/month, as someone who loves collecting HOS shit ;)

what the system needs more than anything is a way to copy saves to usb. I think it will happen but not until one of the final updates. gotta make sure people still buy nso. that's the reason I have it.
