Hello everyone.
I purchased a Thrustmaster Gamecube controller dedicated to the FIFA 2002 Cup. The memory card from the kit works correctly on my Wii (RVL-001), the controller does not work.
Question: Are all Gamecube third-party controllers compatible with Wii?

Yes wii and gamecube have the same hardware.
How do you know it does not work?
Anyways you can use just about any usb controller with nintendon't.

This gamepad refused to work in all applications, including homebrew software for testing controllers.
Ports on Wii are checked, all voltages are normal.
All the same, I want to play gamecube games on an authentic controller.

[..] I want to play gamecube games on an authentic controller.

Then I advice you to get an authentic/original NGC controller instead.

3rd party controllers are supposed to be fully compatible with GameCube/Wii, but there isn't a thing that can assure it being like that. It's a struck of luck to get one to work properly and more important, without failing in +/- 15 days. Some work great, mostly don't.

Some time ago I got a 3rd party controller (can't remember the brand) and it failed miserably about 18 days after use. I decided to get an original NGC controller (a second hand one, because new ones are stupidly expensive), hasn't failed at all since I've got it, about 4 years ago, some months more or less.
