Try Destruction Derby 64 or Extreme-G 2.
want to report a Regression

Ever since you Fixed depth range issues on 20200518
Turok 3 enemies get a black huge square under them while they are alive, turok 3 worked fine without this on the previous build 20200514

EDIT well i retested and it seems most enemies dont have blacvk box under them on the 14 build but some due i guess its buried better on the 14 build while the most recent one they all have it all the time, so i guess its some wierd issue that got unearthed and was mostly buried depeing on the terrain on the 14 build.

Thanks for the update, @Extrems! Just a quick heads-up on an old bug that is still present, in case it is fixable: Wii U Pro Controller loses player input permanently if it powers out, which also disables the capability to press Home to enter Not64's menu, even if you activate a Wiimote and try to go back, or press the power button, since the Wii U shuts down.

You can recreate the bug in the Not64 menu (it changes to a Wii Classic Controller according to the menu icons), or ingame.

This is specially frustrating when used on the Wii U (or Wii Family Edition) since you will have to power off the console. Only the backward compatible Wii with a GCN controller connected is able to control and exit the emulator.

I too hope this will gets fixed one day.

Does anyone here know if Wii64 has any nightly builds somewhere? They've been updating it recently and also merging in some of Not64's changes from the looks of it. The latest release on Github is from 2018 though.

yes, i was watching but i can't compile to test Wii64, because my system is 32bit.:(

You're in luck, I found a good deal on one.

Awesome to know. You will also enjoy a great controller with a loooong battery life per charge.

In other news, i've been testing a long list of games (almost everything on the set), there are a great deal of games that are now closer to 100% perfect, and many more 80% playable or enjoyable (Conker, Cruis'n USA, Doom, Excitebike, Magical Tetris, Evangelion, Mega Man, etc.) . I even started playing Shadow Man, i'm kinda surprised it runs so well, and no crashes yet (except on the intro if you don't skip it). I really love the work done to this emu. Thanks again.

I'm not really digging it to be honest. I prefer the GameCube Controller or the Wii Classic Controller Pro.

But yes, there's a 3DS battery in there. In a controller.

Yeah, i can understand if ergonomics are not better than the GCN pad, which sans the dpad (being a 2D platforms, fighters, and schmups fan) i feel is a phenomenal controller still today.

This may sound strange, but Wii64 started out on the GameCube and still supports it to this day.
So you're saying that one is for the Wii and the other is for the Cube?
Was asking because not so long ago I downloaded Wii64 (Donkey Kong 64 improvements) and I noticed two different dols. One solved some problems and the other solved others.

the boot.dol inside the apps folder is the one for the wii, you probably thinking of wii64 1.2 which has 2 graphics pluggin version one is glide and the other is rice.

Wasn't i clear enough when i explained there is no such thing as Glide in Not64 nor Wii64?

Doesn't it crash the moment you shoot a dark soul? Or was that fixed?
I am not a great fan of the clunky controls/graphics so i am just going as far as i can before i am too bothered to continue, but if "shooting a dark soul" means killing one of those common zombie-like enemies that free an energy sphere, then no, it does not crash. So far i got past some gates and talked to a skull-worm friendly character.

Cheat support is probably low priority for now.

Edit: There has been a update.

https://github.com/extremscorner/not64/releases/tag/20200605

Changes:
A re-release for fixing a race condition with Wii U Pro Controllers.
Yeah, pedro reported it, it fixes the issue completely, from what i tested.

Dark Souls are contained in that red thing that he shoots here at the 2 minute mark:
