All of those you listed have Widescreen hacks that I know of.

I found it. Everything I listed except Conker.

It seems most games have misaligned menus or stretched HUDs. Is this true?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Ideally I want to fix the 16:9 adjusted problem though! It worked on 1.8.5, so I can't imagine why it doesn't work on 1.8.8. :(

Conker I'm not sure, I might have seen one for it at one point. Look around, you might find one.

As for the issue with your problem, I am not sure tbh.
Have you tried what I suggested in the other post?
By cleaning your entire RetroArch installation and simply backing up your saves and custom playlist stuff?

Yeah, I tried that. I deleted everything, put a fresh RA on the SD, and went with all defaults. That didn't help. :(

That's weird.
I have a nightly for it and it's working fine on my end.
I would suggest...
Try disabling both RDRAM options, the color and depth buffer ones, close contents, start the core and check again.

Hey guys, can someone help me with setting up a DS Core to play Pokemon Soulsilver?
I tried it with both available Cores, and also tried it using the bios files, but it´s still very laggy.

Are there any knows fixes or is the emulator itself not working properly at the moment?

Thanks in advance!

Well i wouldn't have believed it too if you asked me a few weeks ago. It was a very pleasant surprise though.
I absolutely second that. What's even more surprising than the fact THAT it runs is how well it runs, at least the footage that was shared on Twitter. I never believed 3DS games to run that good on Horizon. Unbelievable!

Does anyone know how to make the screen not appear tiny in the top left of the screen in retroarch using the switch video driver? It's driving me mad because of all the video stutter on certain cores in retroarch like SNES etc. How do you guys live with it when it's so obvious?

Don't use that driver.
You should use the switch_thread driver for video (or something with thread in it, I can't recall the exact name)
If you still have a tiny screen, then you most likely have a wrong resolution setting under "Video"

All I have in retroarch for drivers is gl, switch or null. This is from either recent nightlies or the latest 1.8.8 official release.

I go in to drivers on the main screen and go down to video driver and it gives me the option of GL, switch or null and that's it. Is it also selectable from elsewhere?
Iirc, the driver should be "gl", and audio should be either "switch_thread" or "audren_thread" for the best performance.
