Hacking Animal Crossing save was deleted, need help restoring it with my backup...

So today I went to play Animal Crossing New Leaf (Welcome amiibo ver.) on my 3DS and it said something like "The new saved data was not saved. Delete data?" I selected "No" and it took me back to the main menu. So I tried it again and selected "Yes," this time it deleted my entire save. I was in shock, how could this happen? 8+ months of hard work, collecting, grinding, etc. all gone down the toilet.

HOWEVER! A moment later I remembered I had recently bought a larger micro SD card, so in the process of setting up the new SD card I also backed up everything from my 3DS, including, presumably, my New Leaf save data.

Can anyone help me in restoring my save data? I need to know which folder contains the files, which files I need to transfer, etc. Thank you very much!

Did you back it up just from the 3ds folder or the decrypted jksm or checkpoint app?

just the 3ds folder, have a literal copy of the SD card from a week ago sitting on my desktop

AC:NL is one of those games that has an anti-savegame restore as a preventative cheating measure known as Secure Value.

Put your save file back in from backup copy from computer → SD card.

• sdmc:/Nintendo 3DS/<ID0>/<ID1>/title/00040000/00086300/data/00000001.sav
  • Animal Crossing: New Leaf (USA)

• The <ID0> must stay the same due to KeyY encryption. Do not change the <ID0> parent folder; do not relocated the <ID1> child folder to another <ID0> parent folder.
  
• The <ID1> can be different or renamed as long it is 32 characters long and consists of valid hex values (0–9, a–f, A–F).
  • Example #1: 00000000000000000000000000000000
  • Example #2: 0123456789ABCDEF420abcdef69FEED0

holy crap it works! I got all my data back! thank you SO much! I've asked for help on other sites and would they not help me because of piracy, despite asking on 3ds hacking and piracy forums.
