I rather play the WiiU version with the uncensored patch than the current Switch version with more censorship. As far as I know the new features is minimal and beside that there are only some new costumes.

This. It's still unclear if the hot springs content was included in the main quest or skipped altogether.

Aww that sucks. Is there any way to convert a Wii U save to the Switch version and vice-versa? I probably would consider playing chapter 2 on the Wii U and then move back to the Switch version

Well I will probably stick with the wiiu version.
I've already finished it twice, and while I'm curious about the new content, I heard it's not substantial.

Still this is a real killjoy and I can't express how much of a disappointment it is for me that this version of the game has no redemption.

Any way to just implement the script un-censorship. For text heavy games like JRPGs I honestly care more about an uncensored script than uncensored 3D models. Or does the WiiU uncensor patch not cover the script?

Was this project abandoned? I can work with 3D models so if someone knows how take the models out and put them back in I could help undo the awful censorship. I would like the original quest lines and Japanese language to be unlocked as well though

Dialogue-wise? Oh.... you know, not much. /s

- Reverted costumes back to Bikinis, also changing the menu icons back and their original names and descriptions.
- Completely redid chapter 2 and a few other minor parts of other chapters to return references to Gravure Modelling, this also uses the original voice files instead of re-recorded ones.
- Fixed any map changes relating to pictures in dungeons that were changed.
- Swapped the English files out for Japanese versions for retranslated files.
- Healing points no longer come in envelopes. (Spelling error by the localisation team where envelops was spelled envelopes)
- Changed Profiles to reflect the character's real ages and change back references to Gravure Modeling.
- Reverted any censored prerendered Cutscene files.

But yeah, tl;dr, they butchered the fuck out of this game for unnecessary reasons, then lazily ported it to Switch, using said butchered western Wii U version.

Basically, it's not abandoned, just due to unfortunate differences between the port and the original, they're at a standstill, not due to extraction/insertion issues, though. If you have experience converting models, though, I'd say shoot them a message!

I wonder , wouldn't it be possible to JUST implement the dialogue changes from the WiiU patch? I think the script censorship is the more problematic thing here, so it would be a very nice compromise to have that restored at least. I mean they supposedly only have problems converting the 3D models. But really, what about just the script? That would be enough to at least enjoy the story. I'm certainly not the only one who'd be satisfied with that or am I?
