@danny19901 Thanks my man, this makes more sense now! I really think this info would be nice to have as an addition in the first post :)

So one last question, just for clarification: you're mentioning "Injects with overclock", we're still in a two step process where It's mandatory to run the Sign c2w patcher (via a forwarder or HBL) before running my vWii inject right?

EDIT:

Your forwarder, could it be made to start a game directly (w/o entering the emulator GUI)?
As I understand it runs the c2w_patcher in conjunction with the emulator.
Don't need to run the overclock sign c2w you can just run the injects but bare in mind you won't gain the performance boost its completely optional to run the overclock

Your 2nd question I think I could make it so a set game can run but it would be very time consuming tbh as I would have to do game by game and also it's wasting up your precious 300 slots on your homescreen isn't exactly worth it

Hello !
Firstly, thank you very much for all the works !

However, I have a question, I don't know which n64 forwarder to install. Should I install "Wii 64 TEX Edition", or "Glide New Build" and "Rice New Build" or "Old Build" versions? Sorry for my noob questions, thank you in advance ! :)

Edit:
I just tried to install "Glide New Build" and "Rice New Build" with the last version of wup installer, but install failed.
"Possible missing or bad title.tif file". Any idea ?

Don't install the Tex edition it black screens also what is your setup do you have CBHC? Haxchi or mocha? I think you need Mocha or CBHC for it to install tbh if still no look try redownload it from my mega links should hopefully work not sure Google Drive has an issue that people get that error when downloading from there let me know if you need anymore help or support also try the rice version if not use the glide version

Ok, thank you for your answering ! :)
I tried the 4 files, and only "wii64 rice old build" well installed with wup installer, the 3 others don't install.

Yes, great, I will be very happy if you could make a new build of rice and glide! Thank you for your job !
I wait you finish your process of setting your pc. :)

Amazing stuff! Do you think this patch can be run automatically when running Mocha?
What I meant by "automatically" was that it as soon as I'd run mocha it would also patch the overclock in the same chain (instead of running a channel), this so you wouldn't have to run the patch every time mocha is rebooted (I hope that makes sense?).
Yes, yes and yes. I want to do this since months:
Great work! Just one thing: You're adjusting sourcecodes, right? If so: Could you upload your changes to i.e. GitHub? :)
Waiting since two months for a reply on this as coding without sources isn't really possible. Also some of the things @danny19901 is modifying are licensed unter the terms of the (L)GPL, so with ignoring my source request he's breaking the GPL:
Our General Public Licenses are designed to make sure that you have the freedom to distribute copies of free software (and charge for this service if you wish), that you receive source code or can get it if you want it, that you can change the software or use pieces of it in new free programs; and that you know you can do these things
You must make sure that they, too, receive or can get the source code. And you must show them these terms so they know their rights
3. You may copy and distribute the Program (or a work based on it, under Section 2) in object code or executable form under the terms of Sections 1 and 2 above provided that you also do one of the following:

a) Accompany it with the complete corresponding machine-readable source code, which must be distributed under the terms of Sections 1 and 2 above on a medium customarily used for software interchange; or,
b) Accompany it with a written offer, valid for at least three years, to give any third party, for a charge no more than your cost of physically performing source distribution, a complete machine-readable copy of the corresponding source code, to be distributed under the terms of Sections 1 and 2 above on a medium customarily used for software interchange; or,
c) Accompany it with the information you received as to the offer to distribute corresponding source code. (This alternative is allowed only for noncommercial distribution and only if you received the program in object code or executable form with such an offer, in accord with Subsection b above.)
The source code for a work means the preferred form of the work for making modifications to it. For an executable work, complete source code means all the source code for all modules it contains, plus any associated interface definition files, plus the scripts used to control compilation and installation of the executable.
(Source: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/gpl-2.0.html )

//EDIT: @jacobsson To make this clear: I wouldn't combine the patcher with mocha but the emulators / injects itself.

//EDIT²: Breaking the GPL does include loosing the rights to edit, distribute or even use the software... Just saying...

I'm not editing any software at the moment in time I will however be trying to work with other Devs with permission if I can make a version of there emu with a few changes the moment in time I'm not breaking any kind of rules it's just making a Wii emu into an inject for Wii U
If Devs say it's fine for me to do so I will be compiling a set version with a few changes that different Devs have made obviously I will ask permission to do this

Thanks for clarification. So I'll look at upstream sources, try to patch them and handle the patches to you? :)

BTW: No need to ask for permissions: Open source licenses exist for a reason and by using them the devs already gave permission to modify and redistribute. All the devs can say "no" to is using the name of the software or artwork but both would be exchangeable and normally homebrew devs don't care about that.

Oh no. :( That's another reasons to use a online versioning system like GitHub: Backups.

I lost Adobe Photoshop to make icon and banners, I also need redownload teconmoon injector tool and few other things as far as making my own version I hadn't started on that yet luckily and yes it would be all on GitHub I would only be using from a request pull and merging code from each Dev that's been working on it in the background fix94 has best base
Emukidid has texture packs.
And there is another Dev who's been making some progress but my mind's gone blank of his name but all these will be is just code merge and compiled

Also never seen that windows 10 thing happen ever I would start using Linux if I could but a lot of stuff I need is all on windows

So not too much lost? Phew...

Try gimp. It's free and if you ever switch to Linux you will already know the grapics tool. ;)

I would start using Linux if I could but a lot of stuff I need is all on windows
I feel you. I always need a VM for simple injects as all injectors are C# (so cross-platform) but using Windows only APIs (what's the point of using a cross platform language when you use OS specific APIs? -.-). Anyway, many other tools have Linux alternatives or work well with wine. Maybe just setup a dual-boot configuration one day and see how good it runs? That way you can always reboot to Windows in case anything is missing.

I will be getting a bigger HDD at some point and will end dual booting tbh Linux is getting a lot better for gaming but can't decide on a good distro I'm torn between Zorin OS and manjaro
I use to use VM years ago for hackintosh just to see what it was like I use to have triple boot before on my laptop had windows 10, Ubuntu & android 8.1 android was amazing in honesty fast, reliable and was good for some of my gaming Emulators just not very good for some of the things I need

Ok as I can't no longer find a copy of Photoshop I'm now using GIMP got my Teconmoons injector tool set back up also made a recovery state just incase anything else happens so expect a release of latest Snes9x Rx in next couple of days and will be releasing a new build of Wii64 hopefully find a way to fix both versions of rice and glide

Will people also like a version of Not64? I will see what I can do with it

Well I have made an icon it's not perfect it would of been better but I really can't get in to using GIMP now I so prefer Photoshop icon is made and banner just seems so ridiculous for me to make using GIMP the quality just doesn't seem to be there

Here's a picture taken of the icon I made yes it needs work but I'm gonna be getting rid of GIMP and try get my Photoshop back

Also I need thoughts on the icon so far I will make it a lot cleaner and have it tidied up more

May remove the snes9x shadow and make text 3d instead may also do some background stuff with Mario etc...
