even JKSV has an autobackup each time you load up a save which is default on, guess you turned that off too eh?

Yeah, and unfortunately I was trying to test a theory that should've worked, but oh well. I've already started a new save, and I'm not too worried about it honestly. Besides, I can just copy most of the info from my previous save into my new one anyways lol. I do wish there was an Export/Import for the received items though.

Right, and all I did was set the checkmark in the box that says "Moving Out" for Raymond along with making sure the "ForceMoveOut" value was set to one. But unchecking the box and putting the value back to zero is what corrupted my save.

Also, making a new save shows me the byte values are the same, so there's no difference in the size of the files.
Save always have similar size.what i called "byte" is a modified value.
a simple "1" changed by a "0" could corrupt your save. And find this particular "0" is a mess.

After the first modification, did you launch the game with ?

Yeah, I believe the "ForceVillagerMoveOutIndex" got changed along with the "ForceVillagerMoveOut" value, so I redownloaded the save editor and the version I have now doesn't do that. Unfortunately since it did that to my save already I tried to change that value back to zero and it didn't work.

So, no solution.
Really difficult to find what effectively changed. sorry

It's okay, I was expecting it to be like that, so there's really no worries about it honestly. Kind of a drag, but oh well.

Also, it just so happens I was smart enough to make my own backup of my save lol. So there's really nothing more to worry about. I forgot that I usually copy the original save to another folder on my computer before doing any crazy shenadigans.

Hi, can I get KK Slider's stool? If so which item is it? Cause I can't find it on the save editor.
It's in Japanese text. You can see it on Saturdays, where stools are in the plaza.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Does anyone know the Folder name for version 1.2.1? My cheats wont work anymore. I just updated the game.
Version 1.2.1 has a new BID number (9429FC5202937D7F)

Make it Rain
Credits to Ninji for publishing the datamine information and producing the tools that make this possible.
1. Upload main.dat and mainHeader.dat to Ninji's save editor https://wuffs.org/acnh/save
2. When it says Downloading the game data file... it has finished loading your game basically open up the data tree tab and double click SaveLand to expand it

3. According to Ninji's datamined bcsv https://wuffs.org/acnh/bcsv_120/html/WeatherPatternParam.html rain is between 10 and 15. Since idk what works, I just picked 13. Since idk what field we're editing I just slapped the 13 (rain) into both yesterday and today's weather pattern.

Weather patterns seem to have been datamined by Alexis https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...oKLntyfUF_e-B6WPRl8l-jM1o/edit#gid=1139529364 so yeah

4. Save the game and download main.dat. Since the site won't seem to generate mainHeader.dat you will need to slap main.dat on your existing save folder (overwriting your previous main.dat) and open the whole thing in NHSE and save the game again.
5. Load up the save file and previously the save file which predicted both sunny both today AND tomorrow thanks to television reports on tvs in ACNH at specific times is now raining. No guarantees this is perfect since idk what I'm doing but maybe you guys can test it out.

Force NPC spawns
This technique was shared by an anon on 4chan in the animal crossing general earlier today and as far as I know it hasn't been posted here yet.
1. Open your save file in NHSE and under the Map tab click on Edit Map... and select edit visitors
2. Expand both VisitorNPC and InitSchedule
3. Select the ... button in the top right corner of the Array

4. In the Members column delete every single NPC by selecting them and using the Remove button
5. 0 represents sunday and 6 represents saturday. Now you can add the visitors you want to each day of the week.
6. Repeat the process for InitSchedule, deleting every single NPC and readding them so that it matches the VisitorNPC schedule
7. Reload your game and now your desired NPC will spawn

I wonder what happens if you just put Redd in all of them. Will the game freak out or will it allow it?
Try it, haha it doesn't seem to care how many slots are filled out since I don't think I'm following the rules with regards to how many slots need to be allocated per npc per week

Is there a way to gift wrap any item in ACNH Poker yet? Loving this software, but I need an easier way of dropping star and bell trees.

Hi.. my island has 10 villagers but only 5 appear in the list when I want to change my layout. Can someone advise why is this so? And how do I fix this? Version I'm in is the 1.2.1.

anyway in NHSE to just complete the catalog but not the critterpedia? i like the catching everything myself bit.

i saw give fish/give bugs/give art/give everything. i was assuming give everything gave you the prior 3.
