So I got my XenoGC modchip a little while ago, I installed it as the guide indicated, I was successful. Tested it by putting in a Japanese GameBoy player disc which was read by my American GCN.

I got some TDK discs, they didn't work on my console either saying "No Disc" or "Insert a Nintendo GameCube disc" so I ordered some Riteks online (got some Banana Digital mini DVD-Rs from France on ebay they are seen by imgburn as Ritek and all...)

I have a feeling it might be either how I burn them, the GCN drive needs some pot tweaking or the modchip is somehow not doing its job (due ton install?)

I'm gonna go to my working place to check in my GCN later and would like few pointers. Maybe as to how to adjust the drive's potentiometer? (How to mesure it)

It ended up working the laser assembly on this particuliar GC must suck as I had to tweak it to roughly a 100... Nothing will make the TDK discs work though.

I'll try putting the chip in another GC I own if the lens gets too tired in the future.
