I think you mean the Doctor v64 by Bung Enterprises. Injections were granted against the product and shipments seized and destroyed at the US boarder. However, they continued making them and selling them, just not directly to US customers. When they were sued in HK they shutdown and dissolved their business. A few months later the same owners formed a new company selling the same products with different name, thought that company didn't last very long.
yup i did , edited
and i think you meant injunction

are the selling them on taboao ?
i never ordered from that site but i see it listed on /csg/ and i have ordered from the more popular sites before gearbest and aliexpress so i assume it will be the same for US
Aliexpress is just the international version of Taobao, they both belong to AliBaba and its quite easy to get it listed on both, just an extrra option.

All TX products for Switch have also been removed from Electroworldshop, which is based in China. My friends, that doesn't look good at all

Just had my order refunded from UberChips tonight.

Apparently Nintendo is suing everyone trying to sell this chip and trying to get them shut down. Wow.

I did apply to be a tester of this chip from SX, I really wish now they would have allowed me to install and film it. I have a full soldering station here and could have done this job at home. I have the CPU paste, can take off the shield easily. I've replaced those small transistors on boards before when I worked with 1:28th scale RC cars.

Just a shame this is coming to a head like this, Nintendo suing everyone......

Nintendo can't do anything.. this chip is a hardware piece and the buyers are the owners of the switch hardware, they can do anything they like with it, as long as they don't use the software.

My point is nintendo can't, at any way, stop the production and the sale of the chip because if you only want to load homebrew you have right to do it, the hardware is yours, you paid for it. You don't really need to use or modify nintendo's software for booting Android, for instance.

The "Think of the homebrew!" excuse was used in court for the ds flashcarts, it didn't work.

A lot of money has been spent trying to change the mind of the US courts and they have decided that phones can be modified & consoles can't be modified.

Nintendo had ds flash carts seized by customs, I think Sony managed that with the PS2 modchips as well.

Don't worry... they can't stop this

It's only a matter of time

Nintendo can make a fuss as much as he want, but in courts they are wrong... they can't stop a modchip which modifies HARDWARE and you can use to boot a different operative system like Android. The switch hardware its their owner's not Nintendo's

Don't you all this it is slightly dodgy that when he wanted your money Game_over_tom was all over any TX post defending them and their business practices

Now he is no where to be seen

Remember kids chargeback is the ONLY way you will recover your funds it is clear all TX resellers are trying to buy time so the funds have cleared to them so they can then disappear with your monies.

We are also still waiting for Bowser to disprove that the factory got injuncted with his pics from his boss MAX of the production and packing line for all your preordered items. Anyone who thinks this is going to be forth coming is a fool and you know what happens to fools and their money ?

From watching this video, my guess is 99.5 % of users won't be able to install this properly on their Switch Lite (and I include myself). They'll have to find a skilled tiny soldering guy somewhere to do the job for them, or buy a pre-modded console. Nintendo doesn't have to worry too much about large-scale piracy concerning this modchip, and shutting down the resellers is just playing it safe.
