Hello guys, i just download ReverseNX , and before start The Witcher 3 with oc , my fan go to 100%. Its really dissgusting hear that, and i want know is there is a program to control the fan speed
No he won't. It will just turn itself off for overheating...If the fan spikes, it is because it needs it, homey.
Setting it lower, and you'll end up with a nice, expensive parperweight.
I mean, what temperature does it go off? Is it safe to continuously do this?No he won't. It will just turn itself off for overheating...
It never is safeI mean, what temperature does it go off? Is it safe to continuously do this?
No idea. I think it was around 90C. And no, heat causing the hardware to die faster.I mean, what temperature does it go off? Is it safe to continuously do this?
84C is instant shutdown in docked and handheld.I mean, what temperature does it go off? Is it safe to continuously do this?
1, afaik.I wonder how many people actually "damage" their switch by overclocking it...
Seems to me you know nothing much bout IT stuffs and what these components and SoC can withstand. It never is safe
They're both the same with how aggressive they are, except in handheld it's capped at 67%.From what I noticed the switch is programmed with 2 different fan profiles as the fan runs lower in docked mode compared to handheld mode with the "same" temperature as it's programmed to run very aggressively in handheld whenever the SoC goes beyond 52-53°C+ it goes 100% compared to only 30-40%+ in docked mode with just 61°C+ as seen from Tesla Overlay.
All my mobile phones running high end snapdragon series had already been running 50°C+ in gaming for long and there hasn't been any problem at all. It'd be a joke if you tell me it's never safe for switch to do the same.
Not for my switch. It runs exceptionally quiet in docked mode compared to handheld with max OCThey're both the same with how aggressive they are, except in handheld it's capped at 67%.
This data comes from 10.1.0-1:Not for my switch. It runs exceptionally quiet in docked mode compared to handheld with max OC
