Hi,

I'll take look tomorow, sorry for this :)

great thanks, also it would be great if you can please release a separate version for Vita with final fba 2012 core as alternative choice,it performs better on the Vita than current NEO core. Neo is great on my Switch & old fba 2012 perform better on my Vita. please do it this way if possible as a one off release & then you can continue your great work with Neo core on Vita & Switch.

Hello, first of all thank you for your wonderful work, I have been watching it for a long time.
I wanted to ask a question with you or if the community has tried, I am a big fan of the games Kinst and Kinst 2 - Killer instinct, I wanted to know if it works in Vita?
And if the video path, if it is also supported in Vita
UX0: data / pfba / media / video / mp4
I thank the attention.

Killer instinct won't work on arm cpu, you will need a proper pc.

Can anyone recommend what's the last ideal pFBA release with 2012 core that works 100% in your experience? If the Genesis emulation also works (it was broken in the last i tried some time ago), then much better.

@cpasjuste i don't mean to sound ungrateful but but for emulator that is known for been user friendly aka easy to use this recent update has been nothing but pain cover art disappearing all the time,i spent hours renaming a full nes romset only to find out the games run at less than 20fps with choppy sound while Retroarch Vita runs them at 60fps!! also i believe the Vita's hardware can handle fba 2012 better than fbneo so would be nice of you to release one last fba 2012 update. many thanks

If this is being released in line with the latest FBNeo updates, then you'll probably all need to update your whole ROMs collection accordingly. FBNeo doesn't update in a sensible way like FBA did. It might tell you you need 0.2.97.44, but it probably isn't the 0.2.97.44 you already have.

Hello people, What is the best romset for MSX and Coleco for PS Vita? I used V. 0.2.97.39 and the final 43, and did not run the roms on Pfba
did you fix your issue ?
I ended up leaving it alone, because I don't know, what will be the performance of these platforms, very difficult to find a compatible romset

Do you have a pFBN dat file to run through something like clrmamepro? Because that's the only way you're getting a matching rom collection for this. (If so, where did you get it?)

As I said, due to the backward way they decided to update fbneo now. (There is a way to check your roms through retroarch, which I've not tried - but there's no way of really telling that your fbneo core in there matches the fbneo in pFBN!)

Note that we've had several versions of pFBN now, BUT fbneo has yet to move from .44.
This is because fbneo has "updated" several times already, and even though .44 is the version, that version itself has changed many times (therefore, any .44 collection you download at the moment could reflect any of those changes).

Think of it like the incremental "u" versions of MAME, BUT without telling us what that u version is.
Right now we're between major fbneo releases, but with little clue as to which exact version we're on other than a dat file to compare against and that it's "some version of the .44 romset".

Frankly, it's a mess to me (no, not that MESS) - but hey, if someone more enlightened than me wants to come in here and put me straight I'd love it, because right now all it's succeeded in doing is ensuring I don't go near any further updates of fbneo (and I adore FBA). One of the things I loved about FBA was that they eradicated all that MAME bullshit: you knew which version it used, and finding the exact one was often just a single download - with no fuck around needed with dat files at all.
It's like they completely forgot one of the things that made FBA great.
As I say, correct me. Please. I don't want to feel this way about it! I want to use fbneo.
It's just starting to feel like fbneo doesn't want ME to use IT.

... Also, it's probably a waste of time on vita as fbneo's performance on it will, like mame, just become progressively worse? (I suspect - again, someone please correct me and show me that it'll still be concerned more with performance than accuracy!)

Well, this is not so hard. It's the same romset as fbeno and retroarch (which use fbneo), which can be found here : https://github.com/libretro/FBNeo/tree/master/dats
