Well that blows hard but it's cool to to hear about the modchip

Make sure you are using the latest Hekate as it will error if there is no emuMMC when you try boot emuMMC.So I recently installed emuMMC (I think) using this guide https://switch.homebrew.guide/emummc/windows. At the end of the guide, it states that when I boot into CFW - emuMMC, I should see an “E” at the end of your “Current Version" under "System Settings" indicating that I'm in emuMMC; however, I get a "System Update Is Ready" instead.
When I boot in stock sysnand, it actually gives me my current version when I go into the system settings tab, so I'm almost certain that I'm not accidentally booting into stock sysnand.
Can anyone tell me how to determine if I'm actually booting into emuMMC, or if I'm booting into CFW - sysnand, since I can't see if my current version is "E" or "S"? The last time I "booted" into CFW - emuMMC, it actually booted me into CFW - sysnand -- I didn't install emuMMC and it wasn't enabled my first go around, so that's probably why it booted me to CFW - sysnand.
I restored my previous clean sysnand and set up emuMCC so I could play online on my sysnand while playing offline using emuMMC, but I don't know if I"m actually booting into emuMMC or CFW - sysnand.
Any help would be appreciated!
Just ignore it and try continuing remove the user. How can I delete a Fake Linked user account from my emunand? When I try to remove him I am not allowed because the switch can't connect to the internet.
Unfortunately, the save data transfer feature does not work with banned consoles as it requires an Internet connection.Save data transfer from CFW Switch to new, clean Switch? Been out of the loop regarding this one so I'm not sure if there's a method for it now. But I have a banned Switch and plan on getting a new Switch for online play - how will I be able to transfer my saves?

sorry, didn't see you post before.
It depends where is located your emuNAND, at the start (like SXOS) or at the end (like most guides and homebrew tools such as tegraexplorer)
But it also depends whether you are cloning the SD card sector by sector, or based on the partition letter.
if you do it in windows, it only sees the FAT32 partition and might only clone that one, so maybe you better just copy/paste the files directly into another SD card yourself?
if the emu is at the start, you could clone sector by sector (both emu and FAT32), then use a partition manager to expand the FAT32 partition up to the end of the card.
if the emu is at the end it's harder, I doubt you'll be able to "move the partition". I'm not sure how partition managers are doing it and if they require to understand the file system or not.
I'd prepare the new SD card with tegraExplorer to format the card FAT/linuxSwap, then find a way to dump the emuMMC partition (with dd ? or a tool able to work with emuMMC dumps, someone made any? or hekate can dump/write emuMMC images?) and write it back to the new card, and just copy files to FAT32 yourself?
If you have more than two partitions (lakka, android, multi emuMMC, etc.) it'll be each as much harder to do it one by one.
Keeping FAT32 at the end is easier to deal with SD card migration.
You do not need Atmosphere. You can do everything on ReiNX.If im on reinx 6.2 how can i play the new emu roms for flycast? I heard i need atmos is there a guide to setting it up on a new sd card for my 6.2 fw? Which atmos fw should I get also for best compatibility with my 6.2 fw for what I’m looking to use it for?
What does "More Details" say?The only two choices are “Cancel” or “More Details”
Yes to both questions.Hi Guys,
I've got a question regarding Animal Crossing, firstly does local co-op work with a Switch that's hacked and a non-hacked Switch (like a back-up copy of the game and an original copy)?
Secondly, if there is a way to connect up via local co-op and say I used some bells cheats to gift my legitimate copy (or furniture items etc.,) do you think that the non-CFW system would be flagged?
Thanks in advance,

SDSetupNow that Atlas/Kosmos is no more, how can a dumb noob such as myself switch to vanilla Atmosphere/Hekate with sigpatches, and how do I update in the future.
You do not need Atmosphere. You can do everything on ReiNX.
The reason it crashed is because Album, which is an applet, does not have the RAM required to run Retroarch. If you load the homebrew menu via a game such as by holding R when launching a title, you will get enough RAM to run any homebrew application. It has nothing to do with the CFW. People only recommend using Atmosphere because they are biased against ReiNX. Alternatively, you can install the legal hbmenu.nsp to have the homebrew menu installed to your Home menu.I tried running it through album -> Retroarch but it crashes and upon asking around, was told i’m supposed to run it off homescreen and Retroarch standalone (nsp i guess?)and that it’s supposed to crash when running it off album so i would need atmos for it to run? Is there a guide for people in my position to currently run it off reinx? Appreciate it and hope my old switch cfw 6.2 is able to do it.
You can update to 9.2.0, if you don't want to update to 10.0.2, there aren't any games require 10.0.x right now. Bypass method no longer work, so if you get a game that require higher firmware then you need to update.
So in a situation like this nobody can use the keys on higher firmware to overwrite the requirements? I guess I'll use my license then if that cant be done. I just hate updating firmware

Yes just hold R and no to the other questions.Ahh makes sense. Thank you I will try it. Just hold R when loading the rom? Does it make a differenve what version RA or my cfw is? Thanks again.
Nope they changed the way you can bypass firmware requirement, updating insn't a big deal
Some apps dont work well on newer firmware that's why I'm against updating but I'll do it once I need too. I just like stability in the vita scene you could play all games on 3.60 Enso but here you gotta bounce around to CFW to CFW I'm not really used to doing that lol
