I accidentally overwrote/wiped a lot of the data on my Switch's 512GB SD card and am worried that I've lost my game saves as a result. It was set up to use EMUNAND but it's been a while since I set it up so I can't remember any details beyond that. I've read that game saves should be located in user:/save/ and user:/saveMeta but both folders show up as empty when I boot into SYSNAND and browse them in Tinfoil. I'm guessing that they're stored on the Switch's internal memory - if so, I don't understand why both folders would be empty if the SD card was the only thing I (partially) wiped?

In system:/save, there are about 50 or so files of varying sizes with filenames such as 8000000000000000a0, 000000000000000021, 80000000000000004a etc. In system:/saveMeta, there are empty folders with similar names. sdcard:/Emutendo/save has three files with similar names. Are any of these my saves and if so, what do I need to do to get them back to a state where they can be imported with Checkpoint?

Saves are stored in the console's internal memory.
