Another question - how can we import saves to this? The emulator seems to save as .mpk files, but I have saves in .eep and .fla files and when putting them in the save folder they don't seem to work. I've also tried renaming the extension from .eep to .mpk to no avail.

This seems to only work if I have existing .mpk save files, not for converting .eep or .fla to .mpk. It doesn't accept any files except .mpk, unless I'm missing something.

I know that many others have said this already, but no words can describe how amazing this homebrew is. Having Super Mario 64 running at 12 FPS on an OLD 3DS feels completely surreal. Thank you SOO MUCH for this, @MasterFeizz

Some games freeze the emulator and the system. That´s normal for this build.

I can't run any rom, the console just freeze when I try to open a rom. (Tried with Super Mario 64, Zelda OOT, DK64 and BK all US roms)

That's funny, the same thing's happening to me too. And I have a 2DS XL just like you. I wonder if it's a problem with the app not being compatible with the 2DS. There needs to be a fix.

Are you sure? Because @Keylogger said he had the exact same problem, on the exact same 2DS model. It can't be the roms then.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -
