Seems like Nintendo may have changed something... Would be interesting to see if this is on anyone's changelog radars who's diffing Nintendo updates.

I left it idle even longer, and eventually received a white pop up that said "The screen will now be closed". Is this only while idle or also while using it? Checked our feedback as well and there are a few people reporting it always kicks out after 20 min..

If Nintendo DID update this to do this, this is a continuation of their user-hostile behavior with this browser applet. Anyone who has used an airplane, hotel, or university wifi hotspot login knows that you can sometimes spend quite a while on that page filling it out. If it's added, it would be most likely to directly limit users from browsing the Internet as well...

I'm going to ask around to see if anyone can confirm that this change is new. Also going to do more tests with idle vs not-idling and timing the duration.

To others in this thread:

I'm going to link our Change.org petition to Nintendo about issues like this here: https://www.change.org/p/nintendo-n...tional-internet-browser-built-into-the-switch

Most likely if you're using the DNS you've seen this on the landing page. It's almost at 1000 signatures. I know it feels like there aren't many options, but if you enjoy the web browser and would like to see Nintendo treat it better, please give the petition a read and consider signing.

It also kicks you out when you try to go back to a page after you view a certain amount of pages. If you're on twitter & you go to youtube if you use the back button to go back to twitter it'll sometimes result in a system restart message. This also happens when you click certain links as well

Also it stops trying to open the login page, it just says "couldnt connect to this wifi" or whatever
