So If I understand, if I put blank_prodinfo_emummc=1 in exosphere.ini this will make my switch as if it is in incognito mode ?
Yes, that is exactly the function of this option, although I read that this only works if you're booting with fusee-primary, not with hekate fss0 method. So make sure to use that payload or chainload it through hekate until hekate gets fixed.

Support was added for "automatically" performing a "blanking" operation to PRODINFO without actually modifying NAND.
  • This is equivalent to using the "incognito" homebrew tool, but NAND is never actually modified.
  • This can be turned on in sysmmc by setting blank_prodinfo_sysmmc=1 in exosphere.ini, and in emummc by setting blank_prodinfo_emummc=1 in exosphere.ini.
  • Please note: This is not known to be safe. There is a lack of research on whether the information blanked out is cached elsewhere in the system.
    • Usage of this option is not encouraged for this reason.

This is interesting, any1 got any thoughts about this?

Support will be investigated in the future for supporting booting with fully blanked calibration.
  • This is desirable to allow boot to succeed for users who lost their calibration data due to bricking homebrew before bis protection was implemented.

This will be great to get brick switches new life even if it will act like a banned switch

So, has anyone gotten the prod info blanking to work? I created a exosphere.ini in the root of the SD, and put those lines in there, but I don't think it changed anything (still shows my original SN)

edit: NM, forgot header.

Guys, need help at once

After reformatting to my SD card FAT32, I have put back my Nintendo folder backup into the SD card. Also I updated to the latest atmosphere version 0.12, my current firmware is 9.2.0, not yet updated to 10.0.1. Now my switch just stuck at after atmosphere logo (the blue one) and did not even boot to main menu. Any help regarding this? Which folder I need to delete etc. For the record, I do not understand about neutos and did not even tried to boot it up.

I updated my atmosphere and my kip patch but since the update animal crossing says "some necessary data could not be found. It will be downloaded now." when I click Start Software it makes me download an update (I assume for 1.2.0) which I already have. This definitely has to do with my patches. It's a legit gamecart. How do I fix this?

Hello, I've a problem, few days ago I tried to update my switch 9.2.0 to 10 using choidujournx but at the end I got errors with pkg installation (screenshot) and choidujournx said 100% so I reboot and I got black each time I boot with all method
So I restored my nand backup, and all is fine now

But I want to update my switch, what should I do ?
All my files are updated !!!

should be in atmosphere/flags/ ... but i dont think choi needs it
I always updated using choidujournx. I am not an expert, but I think that is due to the nand writting permission that is more protected since several updates. Maybe something is wrong with my settings since the latest update
