I know there probably isn't a list of values for each items color variations for NHSE. I think it's better to just wait until that's more accessible. But I would like to know the values for adding full flowers to the inventory. You know when you dig one up? Just adding blue roses to my inventory causes a crash. Anyone know what they are and kind enough to share?

My guess is that NHSE uses the count value on the rose plant to specify the genes of the rose.

Because blue roses correspond to exactly one of the eighty-one rose variants (both red dominant, both yellow dominant, both white recessive, darkest variant), the game loads the rose, sees the genes don’t match, and determines the save is corrupt.

Try setting the count to 63, and loading your save from there.

Or someone could dig up a flower, dump that save, look at their inventory in NHSE, see the count and post it here. Which I plan to do with my other hybrids so I can duplicate them. I was just hoping someone might have the numbers already instead of me having to play trial and error.

This is old, old info. There is a short list of things that'll make your eMMC "dirty" and cause a ban, with the list getting shorter all the time. The devs of Atmosphere use it online all the time and they don't use emuMMC because they understand what's safe and what isn't. You can learn, too, if you'd like.

Ok let say it is safe.

What about play reports occuring in AC?

Almost every modification in NHSE will result in an invalid hash (you can check if hash is still valid directly in NHSE)

Hi all, is there a way to change the name and gender of your character (passport) via editing save or something similar?

I have heavily moded my save, and don't have any invalid hash, so please don't say thing you don't understand ;)

Something as simple as giving me an item in inventory return me a bad hash.
You need to check right after editing, loading a save will reset the check

There is absolutely no need to do this, you can change gender and all you appearence with a mirror :D
I have three profiles on my switch now: for myself, my wife, and our daughter. Our daughter created a profile for herself and started the game first with her name. She wanted us to play with her on her island but I was not into it so my wife started playing BUT used my profile then created her own profile with the same name on the same island. Now when I want to play, I essentially have to play my wife's character ON my profile not being able to change the name too.

Ho excuse me, i forgot the changing name part of your message, my bad.

For gender and appearance you can do it with a mirror.

For the nam, there is a option in the save editor but, it can mess with the status of yur character, i mean, if the char you edit the nam is the first villager, it can move him to another slot, it used to be a bug for a long time in NHSE and i don't know if it has been fixed :D

the character I am going to edit would be the second villiger. May I know if the save editor is already compiled and released somewhere?

Quick question, and probably kind of an odd one. Is it possible to somehow export the island representative from one switch (including their outfits, DIYs learned, etc) and import it as a secondary player character (non-island representative) on another switch? Both switches are hacked with the ability to dump and restore saves via JKSV. I would just like to somehow move my character from my switch as he currently is to the other switches's island without starting over completely.

He didn’t say anything about save files and the person you’re quoting isn’t talking about using cheats or LayeredFS mods. Modding your save is SUPPOSED to invalidate your hash which is why the hash is recalculated and updated upon exporting your changed save. If the hash was still bad the game wouldn’t even load your save. You need to educate yourself before you start trying to be a teacher.

I will say it again as your not getting it....I play with mod'd saves and not been banned... the information that you are saying is not correct. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE BANNED, DONT MOD!!!!! There is no way to be 100% clean when modding.....
