At this current moment, I have a sibling with a switch lite and I've played with them a few times and they have yet to have been banned. I'm pretty sure that It is safe for local wireless.

Your chance of being banned is slim to none for trading items via local, the reason being is that Nintendo has no way to tell if someone just came to your island and dropped them off etc. Also as long as the items are "Legit" and obtainable they also have no way of telling if the other person earned them legit or not.

ah, but what about trading unobtainable items? like a golden can DIY card which can only be obtanied with save editing

Hey guys, I have questions about the ACNH save data. Can someone explain to me what is the difference between save data on the device and save data under the user? I am thinking to transfer the ACNH save data from Emummc to Sysnand but I don't know if the save data is link to the user or not. Thanks!

the game only saves to the device, not user

I think my game broke after trying to alter the last two villagers. :( Had the plots already set, and successfully recruited the two legit villagers to-be-replaced, one from an island and one from a campsite... but for some reason after altering those two villagers, it made both of the plots be reserved for just one of those two villagers, while the other villager was roaming in my town already with no house of his own! I waited for a few days to see if the first of the two villagers whose name was on the plot would move in, but she wouldn't move in, so I edited those two villagers to empty, but the plot is still reserved but for a blank name now, even after I tried restoring the villagers, the reserved sign still is a blank name. Unless there's a dump for empty villager I'm supposed to use to remove that plot reservation? I can't find it anywhere on google or this forum. Or is there no way to remove a plot's reservation at all? I even tried removing the plots themselves using the NHSE, but as soon as I placed it back up from Nook's kit thingy, even with the villagers gone, the plot just gets created still reserved. x_x

well, im on an unhacked switch with 3 of them. i traded wwith people online

Technically the golden diys are ALL obtainable, some of them you just need to time travel for.

Rod: TT and catch all fish
Net: TT and catch all bugs
Shovel: TT and save Gulliver 30 times.

Considering you can even go to a friend's island LEGITIMATELY even if they changed the time to like Christmas right now, I don't think Ninty cares about item transfer.

So technically there are no unobtainable items as of right now.

What am I doing wrong? I keep getting a blank recipe with NHSE.

For example I'm trying to give fruit furniture recipes to my sister who has a Switch Lite. The juicy-apple TV recipe's hex is 0x006 which is decimal 6. I selected recipe from the drop down menu and entered 6 in count, but that just gave a blank recipe.

So fish and bugs aren't tradable because they can't be dropped. Is it possible spawn them in the inventory in "wrapped" status to make them droppable? Or spawn them on the ground with NHSE for a local wireless player to come pick them up?

EDIT: Messed around with the flags a little, to no success. Tested replacing a buried fossil on my map with a fish, opened my gates, and let a local visitor in on an unhacked switch -- was able to successfully dig up the fish and put it in my inventory. Haven't tried with a fish that isn't in the unhacked's critterpedia yet, testing that next to see if an uncaught fish will populate the critterpedia.

EDIT2: As expected, digging up an uncaught critter does not fill out the entry in the critterpedia. Oh well!

no see they arent obtainable. axe and can are sent directly to your phone, making the card itself unobtainable without save editing.
