Is there a way to remove a bug item that I cannot pick up in OFW?
Example: DummyRecipe a87

@Ultimos54 - I've been looking into this issue and this is how I'm approaching this, maybe you can help as well.

1. Make a save with JSKV (or whatever other method you use)
2. Catch a new fish or bug and make another save.
3. Get both saves, the before and after in your PC and use a Hex Compare to see the difference in personal.dat or main.dat. from the first save (before catching the a new bug or fish) and the second save (after catching)

If we can find the correct address we might be able to change the value for the rest of the critterpedia.

It is a long process, just do one change at the time, restore the save and see if it works.

I shall attempt that in like 2 days cos I'm busy with work most of the day . But good idea. I use checkpoint to backup/restore saves. I don't know how to get the personal.dat and main.dat from a sav file. I'm not a coder or someone who gets this deep into stuff

In fact，I tried but somethings wrong （so many correct address that nothing seems to be the right address）I think it has a second encrypt，maybe。

I tried something once,if you hover over a fish you have collected already then another and use the ID's for them it narrows it down,but when I do it on SXOS the lowest I've gotten was like 400-700 addresses and I can't find which is correct

another way to get this done is if someone has legitimately got all the fish/insects in their encyclopedia,backup there save,get the main.dat and personal.dat and we compare to our saves

I'm newcomer here so I can't post any links, you'll need JKSV in order to backup AC saves, checkpoint doesn't support Dev Saves at the moment. You can also use Tinfoil, but I've never used that one.

Also, you'll need "HorizonCrypt" to decrypt your save file, if you google you'll find easy the github page and how to do it.

And you'll also need a hex compare software, google is your best friend here as well, There is FlexHex or Beyond Compare 4. Any of these will allow you to compare to binary files (hex).

Any time only one switch is flipped it should be a lot easier comparing differences between saves than it is in the ram

@Adr990 make those letters lowercase maybe? also they should appear in slot 1 in your inventory

Via homebrew menu. All games appear, second tab is where animal crossing is then when i press on game icon start a backup it crashes.

How are you loading the homebrew launcher?

That doesn't seem to work for me either.

I'm runnig Kosmos Atmosphere as CFW. AC 1.1.0.
The code does appear in the Tesla > Edizon menu, and I can turn it on.

But when I press L+A, no item appears in my inventory.

Weird, I'm not sure what to say. I have the same configuration as you and it works in my no problems. Is your first time using tesla+edizon? does it work on other games?

The Bells/Miles multiplier works fine through Tesla+Edizon for example.

So in theory, the set up works.
I can't wrap my head around why it doesn't do anything for the items.

I only request that the code be mode because I myself have posted codes to which I know people have used to spawn in all insects/fish/fossils to slot 1 of the inventory BUT they don't get added to your encyclopedia no matter what you do.

Heya. I'm looking to hack my second switch so i can give my main switch ACNH items via local play. Will this work, or will one of them get banned? (Don't care if the second one is banned from online but do local bans exist?)
