Hi

I purchased a ps4 already modded, now im basically after some good tips because ive never followed anything on the ps4 scene and i know google is full of fake shit.

Basically what im trying to find out is if and how i can copy my games from disc to the console hdd.

Are there simple ways like the ps3 to run cheats, either copy pkg trainers, modded eboots, remote tools or like artemis (ps3).

Ive read claims of been able to spoof to the latest fw, is this true.

As all my qs likely involve downloaded or installing if its true, im scared to blindly click a google link and do so, with me knowing very little of the ps4, i dont want to mess it up.

Thanks

there's an app dumper. you can dump games with or without patches separated. you put a small config file on a flash drive to tell it what you want to do. by default, the system will shut down after dumping a game, so that you know it's complete. after that, open gengp4 to make a cue like file for the content of the game. then, lastly, use orbis (fake pkg generator) with the gp4 to make a pkg. then, install. it can be a long process for some games.

edit: I think trainers and cheats use fake updates. and, if there is a spoof, you still can't sign in to psn.

Im not bothered about psn, i dont even use it on my non modded console.

Basically for now im looking to get my head around installing or even running from disc if its possible (to save hdd space) the last of us remastered and its debug mod.

I dont know if what i read is true but claims you can spoof 7.x firmware to support newer games and from usb hdd?

Very sceptical, its even been years since ive done anything to my ps3, but im sure its not changed since setting it up.

can't play newer games. there's supposed to be back ported games, but I've never seen one. we can play the ffvii demo though. btw, make sure to make the pkgs modifiable when building them or your saves will come up as corrupted. you have to 0 out the passphrase for the keystone file. that file is only with base games, never updates or dlc. I had to redo my entire collection when I found that out. now, all games and saves work.

Thanks, once im done sorting my new laptop out ill get my head round the ps4, then onto my new gdemu dc.

it's a little more confusing than the ps3 stuff, but you'll get the hang of it. I've probably ripped my 13 games about 3 or 4 times, so I'm used to it now.
