Was the card fully empty? If it was. then yes. the sd card is slowly going bad.

Yes it was empty, I try again but it took forever the 1st time. Currently using fakeflashtest

was the card new? you might be able to have it replaced.
and you could try to repair those sectors (my computer > right click the drive > properties > tools)

unfortunately, large sd cards take forever to be checked, do it overnight if you want to stay sane

@phelen, damn bro. So the results basically states your 512 GB card is authentic, but it has dead nand cells.

You can check again for more thoroughness.

1. Copy everything off the 512 GB SD card to a computer.
2. Reformat the card with an initial pass using SD Memory Card Formatter.
   • This program revives SD cards that have softlocked (ie, certain instants of read-only mode or not recognized by Windows File Explorer).
3. Quadruple reformat the card.
   • Because of its massive capacity (at least 128 GB in size), use 64 KB cluster size instead of 32 KB.
4. Full Write + Verify the empty card with H2testw.
   • Run this test on a computer with a built-in SD card reader.
     
   • Don't use a SD-to-USB adapter in case yours is something like those shitty & unreliable T-FLASH.
   • If your card is microSD, use a different micro-to-standard SD adapter.

Well... i saw that in too many micro sd cards, in mini tool partition wizard erase all partitions and create a new one exfat with a blank space of 24 or 56 mb (unallocated space before), do that and try again

Typically, a SD-to-USB adapter is not a problem if the adapter is a high quality one / not a stupid cheap one with a garbage host controller chip.

Because your card is so big, it's not out of the realm of possibility your adapter overheated and derped out from all that writing and reading back all those ~475 GB.

It's good to check again the card with a different setup kinda like you asking us for a second opinion.

Thanks, I do appreciate it I have to borrow my sister's laptop as it has a microsd slot so I verify it there.
