Hardware Nintendo Switch won't display anything after shell swap.

Umm..so how do I start...
I finally got some free time ahead for the whole month decided to play with my switch. I couldn't stand it how the old case housing of my switch was worn and scratched so I thought to myself I'll just swap it with the new one that I've got from AliExpress.
My friend who repairs smartphones and other tech stuff did the shell swap but my Switch isn't displaying anything on the screen anymore!
It registered touch input and the joycons scroll through the menus just fine but I don't see anything on the screen.
Using the dock at no avail either.
Funny though how it still registers touch input even when docked. It won't display anything on the TV either.
What scares me is that something inside rattles when I move the switch.
And taking/inserting the right joycon feels kind of stifd and tight. It shouldn't be like that.

What should I do. Could this be a loose ribbon cable or the video chip could be fried.

What could this imply
Loose LCD?
Loose motherboard?

Update'
When connected to the TV via the dock it displays just fine!
But on handheld mode it's a different storyy guess is that it should be a loose ribbon cable?

He damaged the LCD connector. It's a very fragile connector - I have personally damaged several. While it can be fixed, it's not for beginners.

Check back-light connection and LCD pins.
No matter how experienced you are with other electronics repair, there is always chance to bent pins in LCD connector due to terrible angle and tension by LCD cable, especially if you never worked with switch before.

If connectors are good, than most likely he damaged an LCD ribbon.
Does the screen lights up? if not take very bright light source and point on the screen, is there any image?

Nothing should rattle inside, probably your fiend didn't put rubber seal between touch and LCD because it's very tough one, try to move console side to side and see if LCD position changing(that will prove by theory)

Uh oh...
By LCD connector do you mean the end do the screen ribbon cable or the actual connection socket on the motherboard??
Because if it's damaged on the motherboard I can't fix it myself. I saw a video on YouTube by my mate vince and it's so difficult..
But if it's about the ribbon cable I'll try and fix it.

By the way. No the screen doesn't turn on at all. No black backlight whatsoever
But the touch screen works.

You will need of a microscope or a good magnifying glass to see which one is/are bent.

But usually it will take less time to replace it by a new connector instead of trying to straighten the faulty pin(s)

Firstly i wouldn't guess, open a console and check.
Usually in LCD connector top row of pins get messt-up first, it's very easy to verify when LCD cable plugged in.
Check from the side where cable goes in, you will see row of pins if there is any inconsistency... connector needs replacement...

Backlight connector very hard to mess up, especially if you have some exp.
But again i wouldn't guess, mb he just forgot to plug it back in.
You have to open it up and see.
