Try to directly inject fusee primary first.

Still says "invallid NCA" (this means sigpatches are missing or too low version.)
Error 2002-4535 (0x236E02)

EDIT: I even tried it with the sigpatches you linked. Same effect.

EDIT: Tried the same again but trough hekate payload. Same result.

I wanted to switch from kosmos to stock atmosphere and wanted to know how to boot into emummc with the fusee-primary payload

Are the games that wont work converted from xci? Sounds like your having the same issue as me.

I have Atmosphere installed on my switch and loads absolutely fine if I go through my game to get into it however it will not load through my album which I need it to so I can use capturesight. Any ideas why it works through game but not album and how I can fix it? Any help will be greatly appreciated

Atmosphere
Try using ReiNX.

When I installed atmosphere on my switch I accessed it through my game cartridge, I don't have any applications or other games installed on the switch. I want to be able to use capture sight in order to locate den seeds in pokemon sw/sh but the only way I can get into atmosphere atm is by pressing R and clicking on the game. Atmosphere is accessed through the game itself and the only way I can access capture sight is to turn the game off and press r on the game to launch atmosphere, but I need the game on for me to use capture sight

Atmosphere is a CFW. You don't "access" it. Its automatically loaded when you send either Hekate or Fusee as a payload.

OK, well I press R on the game to get access to Check Point and capture sight etc. I would like to be able to press R on something else to get access to them as I need the game open for me to use capture sight

The term you are looking for is "homebrew menu". It is accessed differently via the album compared to games. For games, you need to hold the R button but for the album, you do need to press anything.

OMG . Thank you, I didn't realise that, I thought it was the same way as through the game

So yeah solved the problem. It seems the issue was the NSP (repack) that I was trying to install. The non repack version of that same update installed without a single issue.

So yeah a lot of fumbling for nothing...

Hello, Never had any issues prior, but today I got an error installing some titles that seems pretty self explanatory. The error states that the "title requires a higher system software version".

The only thing that puzzles me about it is that I am on 9.1.0. I am using the newest SXOS and the newest version of Tinfoil as well. If they weren't this would be a pretty obvious error, but since they are...I'm not exactly sure where to even look.

Thank you.

Are you sure you're on 9.1.0? A lot of people confuse 9.0.1 for 9.1.0.

Yeah, unfortunately. I was hoping that is what it was, but I double checked it and even tried to install it again just for fun. It just said all of the .nca's were already installed.

Does the same error occur with Atmosphere?

Good question and not sure. Just haven't wanted to switch over to it yet, but I suppose I can.

It doesn't quite explain this, as it should work or at least have an explanation, but it might narrow some things down.

Thanks for trying to help.

1. What does USB install for Switch mean exactly?

2. What is the maximum Firmware to install CFW, Custom themes and Tinfoil, Darkumbra or Awoo on unpatched Switches as of know?

3. how long until patched units are found to have a viable exploit?

4. If one were to use the HW Jig method to hack a Switch and then install CFW and other Homebrew stuff on it while one Micro SD card is being used in the console for a Nintendo user account and data for games on the main UI, what would happen to the CFW if one were to change the Micro SD card to a different one for some time?

5. How long until Warmboot for later FW versions on the Switch?

  1. It installs .NSP files from your computer via a USB connection
  2. Unpatched consoles can be hacked regardless of firmware because the exploit used to load CFW for those units relies on their hardware. For patched consoles, the exploit used only works up to firmware 4.1. Also, you do not install CFW on the Switch
  3. Patched units have been in existence as far back as July of 2018
  4. CFW resides on the SD card so if you swap to an SD card without CFW, you will not be able to boot CFW
  5. Warmboot has existed for about a year now. Its called Deja Vu and is used mostly for patched consoles but is inferior to the tethered coldboot exploit for unpatched units known as Fusee Gelee
