Hardware SR acts as capture button

Hello,

lately I noticed that my left joycon started acting wrong. When ever I press SR button, it acts as capture button. My console is unmodded and I don't remember any possible damage to the both of joycons. Any experience about that?

Check that there is no dust or corrosion under the BGA chips on the PCB.

Canned air under the BGA chip may resolve the issue.

Unfortunately, this didn't resolved it.

the SL/SR ribbon cable can sometimes act crazy, even if you don't notice the damage, it might be there ! if you're not scared try to open your joycon and check that ribon cable, and maybe replace it

I haven't seen any damage to them, but since LED lights do not work on same joycon, might be worth replacing it

yay, had that issue too
it's totally the ribbon cable, that's what you have to replace for sure
