Am I the only one to notice that they had to double click every time choosing something
have you ever tried using the touchscreen to launch games? it always asks for 2 touches for confirmation, its not like using a controller or a pad.
when you see the guy touching the screen six times is because he has ADHD and spams instead of waiting like sx os is telling him to do. you can see the "loading..." notice (bottom right of the video)

I don't remember now, who was that top dev that was saying that it was impossibile and they had nothing? Maybe Sciresm? Btw what did they have to say now uh, I can understand the TX haters kids, but this coming from a top dev must be pretty embarrassing.
sciresm and hexkis
both are AWOL since the new video was posted

Now the usual, big question for hardware mods...
Risk soldering the modchip myself or risk with unknown modder that only God knows if takes a good care of the console and installation process?
RGH for my 360 (Corona V3) was way too problematic (cable lenght, program timings, post fix and much more) to make It by myself ...
Nonetheless, the tiny solder points on the switch, as visible in the trinket installation vids, seems to be a big nightmare...

are you new? team xecuter exists since 2002 and a lot of consoles were hacked purely because of them
this time there's nothing to learn, you either pay for a TX modchip or pay for a replica modchip, but you will have to pay no matter what. there will never be another 100% free exploit again
Dude, you are the ignorant sheep and I can prove it: the TX' modchip for xbox360 was released after Jtag/corona hack, and it was indeed 100% FREE, and I even learned Tiny soldering (tm) thanks to Jtag!

TX's chip was based on jtag's soldering scheme, and they DID NOT credit the Hacker who found the exploit!

I have nothing bad to say about them if they wanna charge so be it. I rather pay for something that Nintendo cant detect vs something that is free for Nintendo to block. PS4 scene died because of that very reason.

People wanna talk about charging for a modchip when I know many people that charges $50 to install free CFW Atmosphere. (Look it up on ebay)

A modchip isnt user friendly especially if you cant install it yourself. I see more jigs than the trinket mods.
I'm what realm of reality would Nintendo not know you've modded the system?

will this be able to be installed and still play fortnite online?
I'd wager no. Unless you're one of the lucky ones who have managed to fly under Nintys radar.

Finally evidence, good job :grog: You really need to rehire the sexy-nail-polish lady from the Gateway era, your videos just aren't the same without.

I know everyone wants soft mods these days, but that's not gonna happen here, at least the likelihood of it happening in the Switch's commercial lifetime is tiny. Get on board the modchip bandwagon, consider it cool and retro if it helps, a throwback to the PS1 era or whatever. The convenience is nice too, just turn the console on and you're up and running. If you don't like the idea of giving money to TX, then wait for the inevitable Chinese knockoff (might even get the same hardware from the same factory rebranded tbh, the people at the manufacturing end give no fucks), will probably happen sooner than an open source version - who knows tho, there's a lot of motivated devs out there who are in a hurry to give TX the finger, at least some of them know hardware.

Hopefully it'll let you boot into unmodified OFW sysnand from the boot menu, so you can play legit. This is assuming it supports their existing emunand setup, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

I just looked up ps1 modchips cause I got one next to me and want to learn to solder tiny points for maybe a ps2 or switch modchip such as reload or the reload's creators reversed engineered OS version of what tx will release

I doubt anything in the PS2 is as tiny as the Switch Lite's hardware, but I'm sure it's a step in the right direction.

I can't use it even if I wanted to, because of their stupid license. Upgraded my NAND. Now my SX license is totally useless. What they advised: Buy a new one or reinstall old NAND, Yea, no thanks.

What cfw are you now running? atmosphere?

no one (except for the usual circlejerk) thinks that team xecuter was gateway back then
dont forget the same people that claim this are the same people that said hacking the lite and mariko units was impossible

They want to marinate their pre-orders / sales

Personally I want to see modchip design and install diags. I'll be offering installs for everybody :)
I like to have one too, I want to OC without charging, I believe new SOC can OC higher. Thought I already have a couple of switches
