Same here. Tried Searching myself, but I do not know what the Values should be, or if it is 8/16/32 or even 64Bit. I found the Round Time, but when I tried to change it....nothing
Can you do unknown searches. Uts more time consuming but after about 6 to 10 searches, you should be at the right addresses

Going to have to try it again. But when I tried it with SX OS, I narrowed down to it, but nothing happened........sort of......I changed it to 63 (99), but then it seemed like it went to the next Round.

Could potentially be something that might need a breakpoint to find out what writes to it though. That's why I like noexs, I can see if the value changes in real time. I miss the old days of gameshark/action replay.

Odd thing is, I mentioned a Page or 2 ago - When I found the Time, it was 2 Addresses, they were in the same Line in the Memory Viewer of SX Cheat Engine, and there were a couple BASE Addresses near it in place of the Hex Values (when Pointer Display is showing). If I am correct, wouldn't that mean one or more of those are related to it?

Anyone got Cheats for Dragon Quest XI with the following IDs:
TitleID: 01006c300e9f0000
BuildID: 1710aabfa5eae42b

Haven't found anything with this buildId reported by my Edizon, only other builds (switchcheatsdb doesn't have either) :/

On the same topic, when a buildID change, what exactly changes? Do all cheats stop working because memory address changed or something?

It's possible but from what I read up on sx os code making guide is that they dont allow writing to addresses in base and neither does edizon or noexs.

So even if I find it, I would not know until I create a Pointer to Test it? Lovely.
Sadly, yes. It's a pain but a lot of these games are going to require pointers or even pointers to pointers to pointers. I don't know if we have enough access on the console to look at setting breakpoints on addresses yet or not.

were you able to get the Universal Pointer Search tool to work? it should be able to search multi pointers

Yes, the cheats do not work if the game has a new update.

Nope, and I tried different things too.
I've tried:
Float 5000 then decrease
Float 100 then decrease
Even u16 5000 in hex and u16 0x64 / 0xc8
It's really weird, that I can't find an address for health, I even tried to find things like cannon shots to see if maybe the ship variables are close together....

And how do you look normally?
I want to try searching in other games with hp bar, to see if it works for me.

Well.......since this is my first time looking for a health bar, I can't answer that question. I was listing what I was doing so that if someone else wanted to try it, they could see what I have done...

the vram is one advantage when it comes to AI but ends up being slower even with that and really AI is the only use case that needs more than 12gb vram right now
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Interesting lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think I watched a video where two games at 4K where eating just over 16GB of RAM and it's the one case where the 7900XT and XTX pulled ahead (minus RTX of course)
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
So my opinion is that they could age a bit better in the future, and maybe AMD will continue improving them via drivers like they tend to do. No guarantee there but they have done it in the past. Just a feeling I have.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
cyberpunk at 4k without DLSS/fidelityfx *might* exceed 12gb
    +1
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but that game barely runs at native 4k
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it was some newer games and probably poorly optimized PS4 or PS5 ports
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
they definitely will age better but i feel dlss might outweigh that since it looks about as good as native resolution and much less demanding
    +1

When I played Cyberpunk on my old 2080 Ti it sucked lol
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
AMD could introduce something comparable to DLSS but nvidia's got a lot more experience with that
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
least amd 7xxx has tensor cores which the previous generations didn't so there is the potential for AI upscaling
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They have FSR or whatever it's called and yeah it's still not great
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
so AMD seem to finally be starting to take AI seriously
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Oh yeah those new 8000 CPUs have AI cores built in that's interesting
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Maybe they plan on offloading to the CPU?
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Would be kinda cool to have the CPU and GPU working in random more
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Tandem even
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i think i heard of that, it's a good idea, shouldn't need a dedicated GPU just to run a LLM or video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the nvidia shield tv has AI video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
LLMs can be run on cpu anyway but it's quite slow

Have you ever been beaten by a wet spaghetti noodle by your girlfriend because she has a twin sister, and you got confused and fucked her dad?

I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
