So, so far, for Shin Megami Tensei IV, furthest I've gotten is to narrowing the addresses down to around 10-11.
I'm not sure what to do after that. Can someone knowledgable guide me through the next steps?

I recomend to you that export all the adress that you got. Then analize the values and try it one at one. If you dont mind, can i ask you what method of searching you are using? Maybe i can help you.
I used the same method Hazerou used to get KH3D's FPS code.
I used the money cheat's code to search for the addresses, then kept searching by bigger than when the framerate spike to over 60 FPS on some loading screen, then search by smaller than when the FPS dip to around 7 on some loading screen

Cant sustain real 60 fps, in battle expect 45/55 fps, in open world 35/42 fps, constantly drops to 30/32.
Edit: The original code test was in YHVH Universe, and that area ia very demanding on the game, is has many visual effects. On the other areas of the game (i start a new game plus with the 60 fps code, now im half of the game story), the code works better, open world: 48/55 fps with drops to 44 fps, battle is the same: 45/55 but on some areas reach 60 fps (like on Cosmic Egg) and on tokyo map : 60 fps. Also, will make the game runs faster (game speed x2), character moves at double speed.

Looks like it just runs double speed at 60FPS. May need a game speed modifier.

Fire Emblem Echoes SoV and Shin Megami Tensei IV Final/Apocalypse have the same issue. (In fact, most of the 60 fps codes in this thread have that effect)

When i have a little more time (my vacations from work start on january) i will look all my codes that need a speed modifier code or turn off AA and stuff and o will try to do that codes. For now i will search more 60 fps codes, and latter i will try to fix that ones.

Because thanks to your Kingdom Hearts 3D code (I really enjoy KH Saga, i have the special editon of KH3D, and now im ejoying thw game again at 60 fps

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better. -

I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way
