I apologizes if this is in the wrong section. I require some help. I was testing my snickerstream setup because I wanted to stream pokemon sun. However I kept getting errors. So I updated Luma and FBI no problem... but then there's Boot NTR. I found out while booting and you push and hold the X button, it would run the updater.... but nothing happens. I don't know if I'm missing something or if I have to update it manually. I already found the version 2.13.2 to download and manually install if I have to, but I don't know how to do it or which tutorial to look up since I don't need to reinstall an entire homebrew system. If there is a way to auto update it, what am I missing? If I have to manually install the update, can someone please tell me how (preferably with pictures to work with visually)? I greatly appreciate this

On the downloads page there is a normal version and a mode 3 version (for extended memory game), if you installed the cia check if the home menu icon has a little 3 on it.
I don't see a 3... I wish I could show a screen shot.

I say that just before getting the feature. hold on.

Thanks... is this the latest version? How do I install it? Can you provide a visual guide? I work better with those.
Just download the cia from that url and install with fbi, then after it should just be like normal NTR Cfw (you might want to delete the config file located at /3ds/BootNTRSelector before you try to use mode3)

Is this problem fixed yet? I'm currently having the same problem. I keep getting all types of error messages. It hasn't been working ever since I updated my 3DS to 11.12 ... I'm wondering if updating the console was a big mistake

Yeah, I kinda already did. I just recently re downloaded ctpg7 to play and it won't even load. And I know that's because the ntr keeps failing.
CTGP-7 uses a custom boot.firm, Luma3DS v10.0.1-plgldr. Try booting with official Luma3DS v9.1 or v10.0.1 without bootNTR and then opening CTGP-7 with wireless Internet. Romhack should then download the custom Luma.

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150
