Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

My twilight menu++ keeps getting this error everytime I start it up. "fatinitDefault failed!"
Well, yes, it used to work just fine for quite a while. I suddenly got this error yesterday. Actually, at first it was just freezing during the first loading screen. Then I tried updating it and now it shows that error message. The last thing I did before this issue began was browsing through the setting menu and changing whether the last game played would be the one that appears on the upper part of the screen right after you start the app. Oh, and before that, I was playing Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky.

Try reformatting the SD card.
If that doesn't fix it, try another SD card.

It has to do with the SD Card,maybe it is corrupted now.
A Suggestion for you:

- Please Backup your Content from the SD Card.
- Try formatting your SD Card to FAT32 with 32kb Cluster Size.
- Copy all Back and try it.


If this is not working,then

- Please format your SD Card to FAT32 with 32kb Cluster size.
- use the HiyaCFW Helper and your DSi NAND Backup to do a new and fresh install:

heya, im trying to play ds games with my friend via download play (i use a cfw o2ds, he uses a n3dsxl with no cfw) and i always get a communication error when he attempts to join, i have tried many different games. Also fantastic job on this, thanks for letting me relive my childhood

Those don't work with DLP, because they use cloneboot.

Nope, there is no stripped down version of TWLMenu++.
You can, however, launch your cart, turn on quick menu, then launch your cart from there.

Okay, after enabling the Quick Menu and holding B at startup it boots straight into the cart.

This is pretty much what I was after, thanks heaps!

Only thing I know is that you have to run it with a DSi right now. For how the rest of it works I have no idea.

@Robz8 apologies for bumping an old thread. Looking for some assistance if possible. I've download a cheat database and can load and select cheats in Twilight Menu however, when running a game with cheats selected I get the double white screen. Any ideas?

It's an nds-bootstrap issue.
A bug needs to be fixed there, before some cheats can work.

You just need a complete ROM dump, like dumped using GodMode9.
After that, wait for nds-bootstrap to add DSi mode support.

@Robz8, well, thats embarrassing.... Found out I had never updated my Bootstrap from when I originally modded my 3DS

Updated and cheats working. Thanks
