which version of nvidia games are you using (gamestream working)? Still an older one, or are the current ones working again?

Also - impressive video. :)

Hello, thanks
Installed gapps, the nvidia has been updated, I've seen a lot of people who have had problems seeing on xda or it gives a link for a special version apkpure or something like that, like in the video, it can happen that it bug, but it works perfectly, despite the update V5.24.27410936
I think the problems come from a bad zip gapps, or if we forget to mount the data vendor partition with twrp... Or something like that.
Gamestream? I'm just playing my games that I have on my pc (in streaming), geforce now in beta I'm registered but... They don't seem to be motivated, Mr. Nvidia, I'm waiting for my key...

Really impatient, I wait for pie.... , my Christmas present before the fateful date?
The touch screen is a big problem anyway, it works, but it's really sensitive, and the boot is long, sandisk ultra A1 128go, I put 40sec, I count the smiles of the logo, the fastest I had was 25sec, then I flashed xposed gravity box, and at restart paf 40 sec, I didn't understand, went from 25 smile lineage Os, to now 40...
I removed xposed and gravity box
But my start didn't come back as fast....
There is also her little whim of starting 1 time out of 2 it depends, there is also the problem of standby, when pa switch sleeps in standby, she no longer wants to get out of bed, forced to press like a madman on - then on B, sometimes even forced to connect my 8 bit do sfc30 pro.
(tips at the android start I press start if my controller connects to Bluetooth during the lineage Os start)
I know it won't be in bootloop boot loop) it avoids waiting hours for nothing, my controller connects in 10 seconds, and I wait 40 to 50 sec for the android boot.
This is what I have to say about the android experience, for the rest there is a higher video of my retrogaming setup.

Very impressed, I didn't think that the nintendo switch with android could work at 60 fps with a resolution multiplier 3 times.

The native retroarch port should be able to achieve this as well, for some time now. Even without, or only with a little overclocking (Understand that when you are running switch root in performance modes, you are overclocked).

The game natively ran at 20 frames (NTSC), so anything above that isnt really needed.. :)

Last time I tried flycast vs redream, redream had the better shader implementation (might have been fixed already), so when playing through disk one of Shenmue 2 (16:9 hex hacked) on the Switch, it really was a smooth experience. So to me that was the pinnacle of emulation on switchroot. :)

Also, fyi if you are going to play Zelda OOT, you can also do it in 16:9 (true widescreen, not stretched). :)
See https://gbatemp.net/threads/retroarch-switch.492920/page-164

edit: I havent described it clearly enough inthe original thread. There are cheats out there to play almost any Zelda OOT version in 16:9. The ones I attached in the thread are for the 'definitive' version of the game for european players. Definitive, because its a hacked GC rom version of the game, that runs at NTSC speds (20 fps), but also has all the european language files in it as well. The rom itself might be hard to source, because its a hack - but I've provided the exact rom name in the (name of the) cheat file attached to the thread. If you want to use another rom of the game, 16:9 cheats for other versions can be found here: http://forum.pj64-emu.com/showthread.php?t=5523

Also, if you end up playing the (hacked) GC version of the rom, It doesnt have a language selector. So if you want to play it in anytrhing but english, you have to create a savegame on an normal PAL rom of the game, where you select your language, then rename it to the GC roms filename and load that up with it. After doing that you'll have a Zelda with european languages running at ntsc speeds (which was 20 fps at the time.. ;) ).

Doom 64 should be Released on the Switch in March along with Doom Eternal
thanks for the information I wasn't even aware of, I just saw screenshots, but is it a good conversion, the question is the question, then now in 960*720 the switch can't make a version with a better resolution because it's 4/3 on a 720p screen so I think I have the same version no?
https://www.polygon.com/2019/9/4/20850123/doom-64-port-nintendo-switch-launch-date-price
after seeing the doom64 images on switch it doesn't seem to be any better at all.... (retroarch 60fps resolution 960x720+shader crt geom unbeatable )
paid or not paid?

My Switch currently has AutoRCM and Atmosphere 0.9.4 on a SD card with 19GB of free space left.
Is it possible to install Android to the 19GB of the SD card without causing any problems for the AutoRCM and Atmosphere side?

There are threads on xda on how to do this. But it isnt trivial, it should be done with an empty card (/backed up content). And it has to be done under linux. You will both create, format and rearrange partitions, as well as rewrite the bootsector of the card.

Alternatively you could buy a second 32GB card for 10 bucks. (But then you'll (switch less often).

Just fyi - it wont conflict with autorcm at all -all the stuff thats on the sdcard comes in at a later stage, so autorcm is fine in general.

anybody tried or got those Chinese Wii games released for Shield working on this?

Very interesting, I wonder why nintendo doesn't push its gamecube wii emulator for nintendo switch, because we sell nes eshop games, that we already bought on different nintendo console it starts to be abused, I bought it on nes, on portable console nintendo, on wii etc..
It must have worked well on shield, with the ia that has improved (a little bit of texture), but thanks for making me think about this possibility, I'll see what I can find to try it when I have time and desire.

Rich333 Well, thank you! You've put that idea in my head now....

Wow, that does sound a lot more complicated than I thought that it would be.
I will probably just try to use a different SD card and switch between the two cards.
Thank you.

I can say that I tinker, and I'm not bad, but I couldn't get android and sxos hekaté to coexist, I followed the xda thread without success, there is an autonomous program supposedly to make the task easier, but after entering the linux sudo commands, it couldn't execute the partitioning of the sdcard... Why? Why? I don't know. I don't know. No matter how long it takes to turn off android takes 1 second, change sd then boot sx 5 sec, so I'm not 10 sec close, the longest is boot android the rest is a "piece of cake" ^^.
And then I prefer to separate retrogaming, from the native system, because on horizon retroarch had to crash 5 times, leave a rom n64 paf data corruption and other problems like that, fat32 exfat problem etc....
On android I never had a crash system with retroarch, which was not the case on switch, when it crashes the console you are good to take out the jig, then the dongle, then remove the joycon, boot cfw etc.... All these problems are non-existent on android with the separate OS system.....

In France we have an expression for that
Never put all your eggs in the same basket
Because in case of corruption sd you often lose everything, so if it's to play 5 min a mario bros nes on retroarch horizon, and there's a problem I lose hundreds of gb of switch games.....

I know from experience that we can sometimes fix sdcard corruption with mr windows on pc....
But I don't count on it because it can fail... and still lose data.
He had deleted the boot.dat from the sd... No more cfw boot possible...
So if you're at home, okay.
But if you make yourself a Mariobros at work and it happens....
:rofl2:. :gun::switch:

If I had tried to follow a guide to get a dual-boot for Android/Atmosphere working, I probably would have had the same problem, since my luck with scripts is not good.

About SD card corruption, I also have had some issues with that, but after switching from exFAT to FAT32, I have not had any issues with it.
