I've been having this error for 3 months, expecting for it to say the straight up ban message soon, my switch automatically updated minecraft, and that's when this started.

yeah you are banned already. two people I know get same error and they are banned already. nothing can be done

good news that you can still play your game carts and everything. only thing you cant is go online with nintendo servers. I do have banned switch and it is the switch that I use most of the time.

I don't have a nearby game store, and I only have digital games. I also bought the crappy nintendo switch online, and now I can't even try the SNES, or even play the NES because it won't open because it's "checking if software can be played" which uses nintendo servers.

what cfw are you currently running? if you have atmosphere, you will need sigpatches and you can get homebrew app called sig-patches updater.

also you can only play eshop in the CFW. you are lucky that there are ways to install updates and games in the CFW.
