Trying to link my account I get 2124-4508, I always restored a clean nand before going online, haven't been on in over a year so who knows if it was when I was using choi or restoring my nand back when it wasn't as secure as now

Has there been any instance of a bans after using emummc setup?
If emuMMC was used properly meaning one partition was kept offline and one was used online, then no. There have been bans involving emuMMC but these users went online with CFW which negates any protection emuMMC may have offered. I should also mention that I am including people who go online with emuMMC and offline with sysMMC on top of what people do which is online with sysMMC and offline with emuMMC.

Guys,
What's the ban chance using atmosphere online only for homebrew and legit games, no nsp installed?
Somewhere between 0 and 100%

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Do you enter RCM by bridging pins 9 & 10 together? With a Jig
Which pins do the jig short or connect to? And you skipped all of the questions involving SX OS and LayeredFS? Did you or did you not use either in any capacity? Please be as specific as possible if you used either or both of them.

This jig

I think it's pins 1 & 10
& i skipped all of the questions about SXOS & LayeredFS because I never used them, I use only hekate and atmosphere

I followed this tutorial
Some additionnals info of my usage:
Clean nand (vol- & Vol+ &Power) before created my EmuMMC & never added wifi settings
updated my EmuMMC with ChoiDuJour from 9.0 to 9.0.1
Homebrew used on EmuMMC : Edizon, GoldLeaf (USB install), lockpick, nxdumptool
usage of Sysnand: check eshop game futures releases, playing SSBUltimate & Fortnite, + updating my game & firmware when asking

Being using homebrews (specially emulators) since May 2019, nothing happened so far. Never used suspicious homebrews nor NSP files. I believe if you keep offline while using them and not get many consecutive errors it's pretty much safe, contrary to all negativity being posted on this thread.

BUT, they've been negative for a reason: you'll never know what nintendo will come up with. If you want to take the risk, I'd say it's ok, but don't cry if they ban your console.

Got banned recently. Dunno what I did.

Can you use the eShop on the Switch? No
If you cannot access the eShop, when was the last time/date you were able to? 10/20/19 was the last checked time.
Did you restore a clean hack-free NAND before going online? No, I did not.
Do you get the error code 2181-4008 trying to update your games? Yes
Do you get error code 2137-7403 trying to update your system firmware? I checked for firmware update (I'm on 9.0.1), it just said up to date. Don't know if that means a superban or not.
Can you login to Nintendo's website using your linked Nintendo Account? So far, yes.
SX OS used? Haven't before.
Did you make an SX OS EmuNAND with a clean hack-free NAND then stay offline with it? Nope.
Trimmed .XCI? I have never downloaded, nor dumped an XCI.
Did you connect to the Internet with SX OS and/or to activate the license? Nope. Never used SX OS.
Did you play any .XCI files online with a certificate/header? I wouldn't do that.
Do you have a certificate/header ban (look for error code 2124-4025)? I haven't received this error code as of yet.
Lowest SX Version used when Online/Offline (NOT Switch System Firmware)? Never used.
What do you use Non-SX OS LayeredFS for? Modding, but I haven't as of recently. I've been using an EmuMMC.
Did you connect to the Internet with a non-SX OS LayeredFS Inject? Previously, yes, but I have been able to use online services after that fact.
Played online w/ Non-SX OS Layered FS Injects? I'd never.
Did you inject an .XCI certificate using LayeredFS to play online? Nope.
Used DevMenu? I've downloaded a Hulu NSP a few months ago that was supposed to give me Devmenu on SysNAND, but it did not work. I've since then deleted it and it's certs.
Installed any .NSP? On SysNAND? Yes. EmuMMC? Most definitely.

Did you connect to the Internet w/ any .NSP installed? I have.
Did you play any .NSP installed online? Nope.
Did you perform any CDN/Freeshop downloading with your own Switch's certificate? I don't do that.
Did you update your .XCI/.NSP games online? Never.
Did you ever use ReiNX? I have once before, but not as of recently.
Homebrew/non-SX CFW Used? Yes, a lot. The most discriminating as of recently was that I was trying to downgrade an EmuMMC to 3.0.1 (Using ChoiDujorNX), but it kept giving me error messages. I gave up eventually. I did dump a Nintendo game to NSP using NXDumptool (a non-pirated game, mind you) so I could download it on my EmuMMC. I used airplane mod during this whole experiment. I don't think it would've banned me for that.
Connect to Internet with homebrew/non-SX OS CFW? Yes.
Connect to eShop while using CFW/homebrew? Probably.
AutoRCM? Hekate.
Did you update your firmware using ChoiDujour or ChoiDujourNX? Downgraded, but same difference. It was on an EmuMMC, btw.
Did you install the exFAT update offline? Offline on an EmuMMC.
receive-lp1.dg.srv.nintendo.net blocked and/or "Don't Share Usage Information" ticked under "Other Settings"? I did disable sending of error reports.
Do you have eclct disabled (look for pm.kip under sysmodules/modules)? I believe it is disabled.
Do you have creport enabled (look for a folder named 0100000000000036 under titles)? I would not know.
What firmware(s) were you on when you cleared error logs prior to going online? Cleared error logs? I don't understand.
Wi-Fi settings deleted in CFW? In EmuMMC, of course. SysNAND? Didn't bother since I barely used CFW on SysNAND.
Console/Account Region(s) America. Hell yeah.
What device(s) do you use to send payloads with? A Mac and Windows computer.
Do you enter RCM by bridging pins 9 & 10 together? I have previously.
If Banned, provide proof ---> Check attached.
Additional Comments: I have never installed Homebrew titles onto my SysNAND from .NSP. However, altered Nintendo titles (that Hulu Devmenu one...) are a different story.

I'm a bit scared. For some fucking reason i had "tinfoil" as a runnable app through the ESHOP, i was in SYSNAND and online... which per se isn't a big deal to me, i've been doing that for a long time.
But the fact that tinfoil launched instead of the actual eShop scares me, and that's due to an accidental file swapping "title" folder moved. I don't know why that homebrew was there in the first place.
I don't know what's going to happen, in case of the worst happens, it will probably be due to layeredfs right?

Has there ever been any cases of someone editing their save, uploading it to the NSO cloud servers, and getting banned afterwards? Or does Nintendo simply not have any checks for saves uploaded to the cloud?

Have there been any reported bans for using SX Installer with stealth mode on? I'm scared to connect my emunand to the internet even with stealth mode on.

Yes always download from your PC the updates never conect your emunand to the internet

So SX Installer is just for people who don't care about being banned or are already banned?

There were reports of stealth mode not working but sx update it(still not safe) but you know if you want 99% of safe zone instead of 70% use emunand for only offline use

I'm a little confused with something. If I use emunand completely offline and then go ahead and play some online games on sysnand, will I need to always restore the nand prior to connecting online on sysnand even though emunand is only used offline?

As long as you run NO CFW on your sysNAND, there is no need to restore.

Hello, I have entered RCM a few times yesterday bridging pins 9 and 10 together. Is there any way I can minimize my chances of getting banned? I use emummc with emunand offline. Is bridging 9 and 10 pins together a confirmed way to get banned?
