My brother didn´t know about atmosphere and updated the switch without asking me. What I did was I updated the atmosphere files on my sd card since I was using a version that supported up to 8.1, but now my switch wont turn on or enter rcm. What should I do

I recommend the following steps:
  1. Make a NAND backup with Hekate if you haven't already. Store it somewhere safe.
  2. Remove all CFW files/folders from your SD card (that would be folders like /sept/ and /atmosphere/)
  3. Download the latest Atmosphere from github (currently 0.9.4)
  4. Download the latest fusee-primary (next to Atmosphere)
  5. Download these signature patches
  6. Put Atmosphere and the signature patches onto your SD card
  7. Put the SD into your Switch
  8. Launch Atmosphere using fusee-primary
It is also safe to update to 9.0.1.

When launching with fusee primary the sept atmosphere logo pops up and after that the battery life shows up on the corner as if the switch is charging and the it vanishes and wont turn on

Edit: tried booting atmosphere with hetake, didnt work and the battery life doesnt show up

just thought i would share some advice on this cause ive had a simmilar thing happen. for somereason if the switch is is the weird on but not on thing it does sometimes with auto rcm it has a hell of a time chargeing. and when i try i get simmelar results where it will boot atmosphear (or sxos if i feel like it) and then when the switch os loads it will give me a low battery life simbol or sometimes a chargeing if its still pluged into my pc.

my advice here is just to charge the switch for a few hours when this happens then turn it on and go back to chargeing. this ushually fixes it but i can also recomend that you never let your swith go into the red battery life (about 15%) to prevent things like this from happening

FAT32 is recommended. If you want to use exFAT (not recommended), you need to make sure you install the exFAT version of an update using ChoiDujourNX.

What happens if i install the exfat update, but still choose to use a fat32 partitioned SD card?

Can you have issues if you use fat32 main partition for games in EmuMMC/NAND and the swtich's EmuMMC's copy is exfat or has the exfat update installed?

AFAIK installing the exfat update just lets you use exfat, not force it, right?
