When launching the game, should come up with a confirm controller section, as it would on docked.

MAKE SURE TO THOROUGHLY READ EACH THREAD AS INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS AND SPECIFIC SUPPORT IS PROVIDED ON BOTH

Above is links to what you need and discussions on how they work. Install the files on the root of your SD card. To use, you need to go through homebrew menu. To do this, activate a game and hold R while it's launching. Select sys-clk, a menu should appear, click enable from first menu. Will then have to manually adjust overclock by selecting title id section and looking for Witcher 3. Select Witcher 3 and adjust clocks accordingly.
Reverse NX is similar. Launch from homebrew menu and will come up with it's own menu. You have two options. System-wide flags or individual title flags. To access both, it will give instructions on the menu. Recommended is individual title mode. Enable docked-flag, press button for exit, then launch Witcher 3. Will have to repeat this process every time, unless you choose system wide option.

Very bad description, but if you need further help, I'll try my best.

Thanks Mate. You legend

Wrong. You need to repeat this process if you want to change profile. If you choosed titleid docked flag and you played Witcher 3, then W3 will be always docked unless you choose different titleid flag and play Witcher 3.

So Switcher reads pc saves perfectly, but is there any way of continuing a switch save on pc? When I try it tells me save data is damaged and cannot be loaded, presumably because of the different versions. Any converters out there?

I personally overclock gpu to the 800 option and everything else maxed. Best to play around though with it, playing with the highest gpu overclock means fans are doing overtime, but will also lead to performance.

hmmm i’m still getting the “software closed because of error” screen even after putting oc settings

I managed to get the Hungarian text working. You have to put all w3strings files from the pc version which is in your case would be pl.w3strings, all of them found in content and dlc into atmosphere/titles/01003D100E9C6000/romfs/.
Also you have to keep the folder structure of the pc version, but be aware that on pc the DLC folders are uppercase while the switch version has lowercase folders. You have to change them to lowercase. I don't know if the soundfiles are possible to mod it to the switch version this way, sound files have been compressed differently on the switch. I would test it, but unfortunately I don't have access to the polish soundfiles, steam doesn't download them in my pc version.
I'm trying your method. I will let everybody know if it works. Lack of Polish release yet pisses me off :D

Edit:
So I got the polish subtitles, but no voice :(
I will try to change names of the files from pl to en...

Edit2:
I changed plpc files to enpc and still didn't work. But for subtitles this method above works fine.

Can you post this here on site?? This polish subtitles for witcher 3 on switch.

For people that are saying there is no difference between docked and handheld mode when you apply dock clocks - I found one.
Handheld can go as low with resolution as 832x468, docked can go as low as 944x531

The switch version uses ennx.w3speech files. Try plnx.w3speech it might work, depends on how different the lower quality sounfiles are on the switch version

I looked in my sd card but couldn't find where switch store the save data? Can you help me to find it?
