Hacking Is it safe to think atmosphere will be 9.0 compatible?

I was about to hack my switch and was greeted by this new update. Should I hack the switch on version 8.10 or update to 9.0 and wait for atmosphere compability? Assuming itll be possible for an unpatched unit? thanks

I mean I dont really care about losing compability with specific homebrews. I just wanna have game backups on emunand. Just so I can have a sysnand version with latest features.

Make an emuNAND first, keep that offline (or patch it with Incognito, remember to back up the PRODINFO file it saves to SD) then you can update your sysNAND in OFW if you like for legit stuff.

That's exactly what I do. emuMMC stays completely offline, and is the only location I run cfw on. sysNAND stays untouched and updated

One thing is confirmed. On emunand game from cards don't work.

Yep, I was one of the first to make note of that and send it up the chain. Probably due to a gc update

I just updated my console to 9.0.0 on mistake and AMS stoped working. Trying to install Diablo 3 and was tricked by the question So I guess now only waiting for good people to update Atmosphere

Rookie here, what's the difference between them? I always pick Emunand, picked Sysnand once and saw no difference?
