ROM Hack Cheat Codes AMS and Sx Os, Add and Request

when i have these codes in my file the game will hang and freeze. once i removed your file the game loaded just fine. not sure which code is bad but definitely something is wrong

*after trying each code seperately i found it was Infinite HP that was the culprit. without it the game boots just fine.

Alright change the offset to something lower. Try 000000F0

Generally the lowest ones are going to be the ones you want. The bad news is that you will have to test each one. Or you can redo the search again after exiting amd restarting the game, then comparing the results to your previous ones.

Going to try again Tomorrow. Ended up with completely different Results and nothing Matched. Did the redo Search/Compare Results.

I'll double check things (=
Weird that Atmosphere/edizon doesn't like looping codetypes? Or maybe It uses a different format for it.

I always use 20000000 on the following line for visability where the loop closes.

So i'm using noexs but that is actually pretty neat. Noexs doesn't find base addresses that I can see. Alright I'm still trying to figure out the health and lives but like you said its weird.

So for IDA pro, I want to make sure I'm doing this right. So I go to search and choose text. Then type in what I'm looking for like health/god mode/etc

You have to use the string Search just as @Falo explained a couple off pages back for the mutant game. There are a lot off things you could find there. Also the same for bulletproof. I take a look at bulletproof today. Don’t have time for spyro today i think.

I rechecked the other codes in SXOS and Atmosphere and they work fine for me. I'll see if I can find another pointer address maybe, but the one I'm using is literally translated from the old codes.

Test video in atmosphere, Inf Energy, Looping Codetype Inf Ex Guage (whatever the yellow circle is that lets you do L+R attack) and Max Damage.

When the HP code was fixed I put back in the all other codes (Infinite Energy, Ex Gauge, One Hit Kill). Infinite HP and Energy worked. The Ex gauge code worked too but.......I wasn't doing massive damage anymore and I definitely wasn't getting One Hit Kills.

It doesn't make sense but that is what happened.

Oh, maybe I just mistranslated the orignal author (it was from 91wii, chinese) and got the two codes mixed up - that would be a simple fix
