Hello guys,

I got stuck on zelda shad bug. So I tried to change the game save. I changed the usb loader gx save settings to partial trying to dump it to sd, I saw no file changes than I changed to full... The zelda booted but all my controllers do not respond anymore :-/ I restarted the console and no controller is working anymore.

I tried shutting it down, 15s, I tried re-syncing them via 15s at console health screen and controllers red buttons and nothing works.

How can I restore the controllers? Or reset everything?

HI! Many thanks for your fast response.

If I understood well, I will need a GC controller to access homebrew channel and try to revert this issue.
Probably the sync config was trashed or even the emunand, and it can't recover.
I will buy one GC controller and try this approach.
Thanks.

Hello.:)

Yes it is always a good Idea to have a Gamecube Controller at home when you handle around with Homebrew and that stuff.:)

By the way: Do you have PRIILOADER installed ?

What you can try is boot/reset the Wii a few times in a Row.For me it works "sometimes" to get instead the Homebrew Channel into the Wii Menu or the Safety + Health warning Screen (if you DO NOT disabled it in PRILOADER)
Then you also can sync your Wii Motion Controllers.:)

Thank you.:)

Just to keep in touch. @alexander1970 .
My new GC controller arived and with that I reverted the problem changing the config from full to partial and I successfully re-synced the wii controllers.
Thanks again

Hello.:)

Thank you for your reply and telling us your solution.:yay:
Great to hear now your Wii Controllers works finally.

As bonus you can use your Gamecube Controller also in Mario Kart Wii and many other Applications and VC Games and many more.
That was an absolute good investment.:D

Have fun with it and your Wii.
Thank you.:)
