LennyTube
Youtube on the Nintendo Switch (NRO format).

Rationale
The YouTube title on the Switch is only usable if one is not banned, since the title in question logs in on Nintendo Network. Whilst it's possible to bypass this by patching the YouTube app, this is far from ideal as the resulting file is not allowed to be shared.

This application aims to circumvent that last problem by launching it's own WifiApplet, meaning no copyrighted data is ever involved.

Limitations

• Desktop mode only (TV mode is inaccessible, Mobile doesn't play videos properly).
• Works only from APPLICATION mode (it will display a warning and instructions how to do this if you're still running from APPLET).

I know this is very far-fetched, but what if there was on online network for banned people?
It would work in a somewhat similar fashion to RiiConnnect24, and people could set up their own game server where banned people could play.

The Encryption needs to be cracked first. I'm not sure if anyone have it or not to be honest. If I remember correct doesn't RiiConnect24 require a SSL patch?

I didn't know the switch's encryption to the internet was encrypted... perhaps it'll take some time to have something like RiiConnect24.

No, it's just a web launcher for youtube.com I'm afraid.

It'd be cool to do this, but I'm afraid it's not really feasible with the method I'm using.

I'm running 8.1 with AMS 9.3, however the system has the OFW 9.0 ready to install and I get promoted to update every time I launch an app, I am obviously not gonna do that till AMS gets full compatibility, however LennyTube wont boot anymore as every time I try to launch it tells me "System needs to be updated"
Any work around or am I to be patient until I update AMS and hence OFW to 9.0 ?

New release (v1.0.2).

No new features, just recompiled since 9.0.0 changed a thing about HID inputs and Atmosphere won't support the old method forever.

If it doesn't work in the future, make sure to run the latest version.
