Hello.
Right now I'm eating Hot-Dogs... and I've noticed that I'm way too lazy to eat them well prepared.
What do I mean with this?
That... where I live, we tend to eat Hot-Dogs as the following:
- We deep fry the sausages/weenies
- We grab a Hot-Dog bread, and we spread Mayo on each side. Some people spreads Mayo and Sour Cream on each side
- We put the Fried weenie and add chopped Tomatoes and Onions
- Top everything with Ketchup, Yellow Mustard and sometimes Chopped Jalapeños

Then I realized that, in some parts of the world, mainly USA they eat them with BOILED WEENIES and Mustard and Ketchup and that's it.
Like... WTF?
Not to judge them, but that's so weird.

How do you eat your Hot-Dogs?

Here in Austria the "Würstchen" is mainly boiled or simply "made warm in water". Pfui... (means gruesome)
I prefer it also fried or grilled.Only thing I do not like is Jalapenos on it.
Instead gherkins and roasted onions.:yay:

I prefer them grilled. Haven't ever had them deep fried, so that's new to me. Restaurants here cook them on hot rolling pin machines. Kind of like a rotisserie. As far as boiling them goes, I've never been a fan as it cooks out a lot of the flavor.

I think it's bloody weird you put mayo and chopped tomatoes on your hot dogs lol.

Here in Scotland I have never seen anyone have anything other than mustard/tomato sauce and fried onions on their hotdog.

I've always wondered something...
Are Sausages in USA made from the same things Sausages are made here in Mexico?
I've heard of a "Pink Goo" and things like that.

Here in my country, sausages are made of meat and the leftovers of pork, cow and chicken, mixed together.
Some other are made of pure turkey meat.

Alone and crying.

I haven't tried deep frying with the dogs, but I have a feeling I'd be very sick ten minutes after I ate it.
You're part of a big family called GBATemp. Don't cry.
Really? I wonder what sausages are made of in USA to choose not to fry them.
Just curious.

Try them with mayo (not Hellmans) and chopped red tomatoes and all that stuff.

Fry / Grill / Boil / MicroWave / BBQ the wieners wurst
Get a good sandwich or fench stock bread (I preffer French stock bread, more space on it and you can makeit as long as you wish) , warm it a little on a grill or oven or plate
Warm up some sauerkraut and spread it on the sandwich
Put in the warm wiener
Put on mustard and put on ketchup in zig zag shape

Optional:
top off with fine hacked raw onions or backed onion rings
Or just put on a slice of cheese (those special melt cheese slices you use on hamburgers)
Or put on all the above

Optional:
When on a French stock bread, Put on plenty of (fine) fries on it and mayo if you use fries on it (else not)
