With that is known now with the switch and how it charges how does those non switch branded anker powercore 26800 banks stack up and are they safe or should i go for the official switch version which is A bit more.

The only difference is "optimizations" for the switch, it really doesn't matter. Try to find people reporting issues with power banks, you can't.
